The room was nice, the staff were exemplary - I would definitely recommend using as base for going to the archaeological parks! Perhaps not the best place to stay if you love a hotel breakfast though…
A small hotel with fantastic staff. Pompei ruins 5 minute walk. Plenty to do around the area with good travel links. If we go back, we'll stay here again.
Right in the city center. Very busy streets but excellent sound proof windows to make the room quite. Very convenient for eating out, shopping. Minutes from Pompeii park. Very friendly staff helped us parking and check-in in.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Even helped us to get tickets online to get to mount Vesuvio. Parking right in front. Breakfast included. Usual selection of cold cuts, bred, coffee, tea, cereol, breakfast cakes, yogurt, juices etc. Room was nice and clean. Bed comfortable. Location is perfect. Just a few mintues walk to the ruins entrance and plenty of great restaurants. I definitely recommend it.
Nice location behind Sanctuario. Busy street but noise dampened for sleeping with metal shutters. Nice breakfast. Staff helpful. Hotel about 20” walk from archaeology site

Good value for money. Good location. The shower needs some attention though but just a new showerhead and it would be great. The breakfast here is excellent. Highly recommended.
The Hotel Palms is absolutely perfect for exploring the sites of Pompeii! It’s about a 12 minute walk away to the main entrance and a great hotel for staying with kids. The rooms were really comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic however the best part was the staff. They were super friendly and always wanted to be helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
The Hotel Palma is a great location to visit the Pompeii Archeological site and also the Pompei Basilica (a must visit) and then have restful night in an elegant comfortable room, to wake up to a delicious breakfast in the morning. Recommended.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Staff was responsive. Breakfast was good and had a variety of options. The room that sleeps 4 was small but clean. We are 🇨🇦, there were no clothing irons. Property does have a small lift.

Disliked: Amenities
Good location central to Pompeii. Limited meals available at the restaurant. Buffet breakfast very limited. Staff friendly and helpful. Convenient for the Circumvesuvio train line.
Great location for a trip to Pompei and Vesuvius. I’d probably suggest it’s more like a solid 3 star hotel, staff were good with an authentic feel but the rooms need a bit of repair and updating. Size it was okay for two adults and two kids and price wasn’t bad for the location but I’ve not really had local comparisons.
Fabulous hotel. Staff all spoke excellent English and were incredibly helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean, large, and well kept. Wonderful views of the city/Vesuvius, and the outdoors patio was lovely. Super convenient location close to the Circumvesuviana metro line, and easy walking distance to the Pompeii ruins, many restaurants (Na Pasta was our favorite!), and gelateria. Favorite part of our trip was the time in Pompeii. You won't go wrong staying here!
We arrived for check in a bit on the early side, and there was someone there to get us into a parking spot. The staff overall were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We loved the balcony and beautifully tiled bathroom with a deep bath tub. The rooftop terrace provided splendid views at sunset, and having it be within easy walking distance of the Amphitheater entrance to the Pompeii ruins was perfect. I will say, the honking and traffic sounds from the street were very easy to hear through the window. If that is bothersome for you, definitely bring ear plugs to sleep with. Breakfast the next morning was huge, varied, and delicious. The fresh squeezed blood orange juice was my favorite. Overall, a wonderful experience.
We had a good stay at Hotel Palma. We stayed in a family room which worked out great for us (a family with children). The staff was mostly very friendly and welcoming, with the exception of the very grumpy breakfast attendant. We stay at a LOT of hotels and this is the worst breakfast experience we've ever had unfortunately. Usually, when there is a buffet, you are allowed to stay at the table and finish your food even past the time a buffet is officially served. The staff will usually just put away the food and let you stay at the table. Not so at this hotel. As soon as the clock hit 10am, the breakfast attendant turned off the light in the room (to signal us to leave) and started very aggressively putting the buffet away while sighing and rolling her eyes when we had the gall to stay 5 min past the end of breakfast time. That put a bad taste in our mouthes - literally. Also, the breakfast food was very old and - with the exception of some of the pastries - was not changed out during our entire stay. The same moldy ham was served on day 1 and day 4. We are pretty sure the bacon and eggs were reheated as well. The juice had flies in it and was not changed out in between days. So while I recommend the hotel itself - skip breakfast and go get it somewhere else.
The location is very nice: a ten minute walk from the Amphitheater entrance to the site of Pompeii and two minutes from the plaza in front of the Sanctuary. It's less touristy than the area directly beside the archaeological site with some great restaurants an easy walk away. The room had a balcony, comfortable bed and a large (for Italy) shower. The staff was extremely pleasant. We would absolutely stay here again.
