"The staff are excellent and very helpful. Our breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. Our room was cleaned every day. The vineyard and the surround were exceptional. Extremely well maintained in a beautiful setting overlooked by Mt Vesuvius. The main city of Pompeii was a 10 minute walk and transport easily accessible due to two train stations available. We were able to travel around to places such as Herculaneum, Sorrento & Naples. We really enjoyed our time here in spite of the weather and likely we will check in here again."

"This was a lovely locally run independant hotel. Our room was large with a balcony, there is a nice pool and great views. The only caveat would be that in my opinion you need a car. On a map the hotel isn't far from anything Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Sorrento, Napoli. The trains run frequently and are cheap, (about 3 euro or less per person per journey). The hotel is only 1 mile from the nearest station. However, it's not a nice walk up streets that are not all paved or lit and motorbikes in particular drive fast. The hotel does offer a free shuttle but it has to be pre booked which means you have to know always in advance where you are going and when you will be back. Taxi's are few and far between and are expensive (30+Euro for just a few miles, if you can find one). It didn't work for us and we ended up booking a hotel for 1 night in Sorrento so we could stay late and have a meal and a drink without watching the clock. If you plan to have a hire car or to drive I recommend this place otherwise if you want to explore the area I recommend Napoli or Sorrento"

"The place is ideally located minutes from Pompei archeological museum and train station. We got simple, clean room, facing parking lot. Pleasant reception person allowed us to check in ahead of time. Tasty buffet breakfast is served at near hotel. Unusual problem was with... mosquitos in a room. We managed to get rid of majority of them, still have a few buzzing around during the night."
