"Needs updates, breakfast times need changed, overly crowded long lines. Waffle makers should move it held up the line. Pool was fun and clean, but no pool towels were available several times we needed them. Our bathroom sink didnt drain."

"We were very disappointed with our stay due to several issues that significantly impacted our weekend.The biggest problem was the Wi-Fi. The login information emailed to us did not work, and there was no cell service at the property, so we couldn’t even contact you or Evolve for help. We eventually found the correct username and password on the router itself, and it was completely different from the information provided. The magnet on the fridge also had partially erased, incorrect Wi-Fi info. Ironically, your response email arrived after we had already solved the issue ourselves. I had specifically asked ahead of time if firewood was available and was told yes. However, there were only a few wet pieces of wood in the fire pit, no kindling, and the lighter was empty. Our plan for Friday night was to relax by the fire or watch movies, and we couldn’t do either. There were also major cleanliness and maintenance concerns. There were many large black ants inside the cabin. The coffee pot was dirty with old coffee and used grounds still in it, there were food pieces left in the refrigerator drawer, grime in the kitchen trash can, and long black hairs on the shower floor before we used it.Additional issues:* No dish cloth provided* One coffee mug was chipped* Bathroom door was off track and wouldn’t close properly* Listing said there was a microwave, but there was only a toaster oven* No local information binder as stated in the emailHad potential-but these things changed it"

"Yes the breakfast was okay. Parking was very safe."

"Room was okay for the price. However shower was a disaster. Not enough water pressure to even move the water up to the shower head. Had to take shower with the hand held unit which was also weak. They really to fix this. Only reason I don't give the stay an "Excellent""

"This was a great place to stay with lots of people. Parking off-street by the house for ease when unloading, plenty of beds, and a nice dining area and living room space for eating and being together. Just as a heads up to anyone with small kids or elderly guests, all the rooms are upstairs and there isn’t a railing. This is our only complaint, as my 76 yo father and my 2 yo nephew had a hard time on the stairs. Everything else was great!"

"When I accidentally booked a stay with the inn for the wrong night through a third party. They canceled my nonrefundable stay and rebooked me for the night that I intended. These people believe in customer service and have such a lovely place and made to order breakfast. When going through Mount Vernon again, I will definitely stay with them. Great for cyclists."

"The room was clean and adequate for what we paid. The staff on registration was a concern. She seemed to struggle getting us checked in. Once to our room, the door wouldn’t open because the inside latch was “caught.” While trying to get it open, we realized there was someone in the room that we were trying to enter. We addressed it with the staff at the desk, who kept saying she couldn’t understand why “they” would have put two of us in that room. The next morning at breakfast, she admitted it was her mistake the whole time. This is a major concern. We glad he was calm and not fearful or angry at our trying to get in."
