She needs to be reminded that we are paying customers and not some grunt as she had a a very military like tone to her. Resign to the night shift then. Bad management for a bad hire."

"This is a really stunning house in possibly the best location in Juneau. Whether socked in by fog and listening to the fog horns of ships or blessed with clear skies, the views -- from sea level opposite downtown Juneau -- are why you come here. The house is well equipped for cooks and there are fun fire features indoors (pellet stove) and out (a gas heater on the deck and a fire bowl on the lawn). We used them all in a memorable week with family. We had some minor issues with fuses and a heater than wouldn't shut off but nothing to knock the lodge from its 5-star status. The host Samantha was flexible, allowing us to check in a few hours early, and quick to respond to a phone call. We'll be back."
