  • Summary:

    Welcome to "SeaJoy". This freshly upgraded duplex resides in an established community (circa 1980's), and is quietly tucked away in a prime location of Mount Pleasant right between Sullivans Island beach (8 min drive) and downtown Charleston (12 min drive). If you're familiar with Charleston, you will have heard of Shem Creek. Shem Creek is one of the most iconic row of bars and restaurants in all of Charleston with a beautiful harbor view; SeaJoy is only 1.5 miles from Shem Creek! This home features granite counter tops, brand new furniture (couch, beds, tables, etc), and WiFi. The backyard has a gas grill, privacy fence, a nice sitting area in the middle, and a pond view.



    The Space:

    This home is completely decked out with a full kitchen (plates, cups, cookware), linens, towels, a gas grill outside and everything you need for a fun and comfortable Charleston vacation. This home has a king and queen bed sleeping four people as well as a queen sized sleeper sofa with a 5" memory foam mattress in the living room that can sleep two. Upstairs there is a hallway connecting the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own sink and toilet but the bathtub is shared. There is also a half bath downstairs. A convenient combination lock on the door means a very easy check in.



    Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.

    This home is conveniently located within walking distance of a grocery store as well as some restaurants.



    Getting Around:

    If you're familiar with Charleston, you will have heard of Shem Creek. Shem Creek is one of the most iconic row of bars and restaurants in all of Charleston with a beautiful harbor view; SeaJoy is only 1.5 miles from Shem Creek! This freshly upgraded duplex is located in Mount Pleasant right in between Sullivans Island (8 min drive) and downtown Charleston (12 min drive).



    Other Things to Note:

    Upstairs there is a hallway connecting the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own sink and toilet but the bathtub is shared. There is also a half bath downstairs.

Wonderful place for a girls trip! Great location, great amenities (even a tent for the beach), clean, great communication, etc. The only suggestion I have is to install door handles with locks on the bedroom doors. I felt safe, but I always like to lock the bedroom doors at night when staying away from home. This was so minor compared to how great this place was. Awesome back porch set up.

Cute place in a great location for visiting the Charleston area. The unit was quiet and the area felt safe. We didn’t cook, but it seemed like the kitchen was well equipped with the basics. There was a dog in the adjoining unit that barked when we drove up each time, but it stopped as soon as we entered the unit and was not a problem. I only mention it because we initially were concerned we would have a barking dog next door and it was not a problem.I would stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Highly recommend this property. Great location, convenient to beach, shopping, dining and downtown. Very quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed the privacy of the backyard. Very nicely done and relaxing.
