Nestled in County Cavan's scenic landscape, Mount Nugent invites visitors to explore the charming Carraig Craft Visitor Centre showcasing local artisans. Rent a boat at Crover Boat Quay for peaceful lake adventures or take a short drive to experience the ancient mysteries of Loughcrew Cairns.
This place was amazing! Very deceptive from the outside. - very nondescript when looking at it, but inside it was classy and comfortable. Breakfast was as if you were at a 5-star restaurant - table service, ambience was terrific and staff were fabulous.

We had a one night stay here on our way to Dublin. The hotel has a beautiful foyer and the reception staff member was very welcoming. Our room was spacious and faced the complimentary car park. We were surprised by the lack of air conditioning and absence of a bar fridge. Maybe this had something to do with our room rate. Included buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would recommend this hotel.
