"My wife and I were excited to try this rental at Camp Sherman through VRBO. Camp Sherman - and especially the Metolius River - is probably my favorite place on earth! We have stayed just about everywhere in the area, so when we found this rental, we could not wait to see it. In brief, it was amazing! the house is super clean and stocked with everything you could ever need. It is right on the Metolius, and the view is gorgeous. It is tucked away from the adjoining properties, so it is very private.It really is absolutely beautiful, serene, and quiet and we will definitely go again."
"Comfortable living and dining room area. Kitchen well stocked with staples. Adequate towels for home and pool use. Multi level deck very spacious with shallow steps to various levels. Our 90 YO guest missed the step and fell the first night. Fortunately he was ok! Carpets very stained and tack strips holding carpet to stairs were exposed and sharp. Originally a beautifully built house that needs some upgrading. The bunk room is accessed by a separate staircase which was a surprise due to lack of accurate layout description. One parent had to sleep with the 2 and 6 year old because of the distance from other bedrooms. All in all, we did enjoy the house and black butte. Smoke came in and out due to the Flat fire burning 12 miles away. This was disappointing. "

"This home was perfect for us. We had 7 adults who fit easy, and our pups had room to roam. The house was as pictured and described, easy to locate in Black Butte Ranch, and very convenient to the Lodge. The kitchen had all the amenities and small appliances needed, and grilling and chilling out back was so peaceful. Easy check in and check out. Heather answered our texts quickly. We wish we had an extra day after our son’s wedding to just sit in the rockers out front and take in the view. Bonus that there were 5 adult bikes to use while our friends and family had to rent! We will come back for sure!"
