"We are a family of five and stayed here for four nights in late May. Would highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a camping vibe but with great amenities like showers and electricity. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the restaurant at the lodge was great (and offered a kids menu which was convenient). The location is minutes away from Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. There is firewood easily available and fire starter, so we did a fire at our tent each night. The staff even offered us a s’mores kit one evening. The temps were cooler but the beds had bed warmers and there were space heaters, so it was comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, especially chef Malik and RJ. My husband did a guided hike with Jerm which was great. The resort had a calming and rugged atmosphere. The only downsides to our stay were a. The online pictures make the area with the bunk beds appear larger than it is. It’s pretty small for three older kids (14, 12 and 9) and b. There was another tent fairly close to us that was yelling profanities in our direction and made us uncomfortable. Otherwise, the stay was memorable and we would recommend the resort."
