"The apartment is really great and everything is brand new. But the agency forgot to send check in instructions, we called them and were all set. Be aware to get instructions 2 days before or call them. In VRBO the location was directly on the water, in reality not at all. If you want to stay in this area, the location is great but we drove every day to Acadia park or supermarket about 25-30 minutes. Yes, I would recommend this accommodation and would like to stay here again."

"Nice new apartment upstairs of the garage. It’s a spacious single room (except the bathroom of course), nicely laid out with pleasant lighting through windows looking out towards the trees. The “kitchen” is minimal: a dorm-sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, water kettle and coffee maker. Sufficient for our needs but not enough for an extended stay. Given that the rental is a one-room studio with laminate flooring, the pet fee seemed a bit steep, but the apartment itself was a good bargain...

"Great stay for a motel at this price point within walking (a few blocks, so easy for a young family) distance to Downtown. Breakfast is simple granola bars and pastry items, so we did grab breakfast sandwiches in town. Coffee and bottled water all day is a nice touch though. They also have a bottle filler in the lobby. Snack items like nuts, granola bars and crackers were also available all day. Room was clean and enough space for a family of 4. We were in the side building which was extra quiet and great for us. Anyone with mobility issues would want to request the main building to easily access the lobby. Overall a great home base to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia."
