The space was clean and tidy and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. It made for a comfortable weekend stay as all of downtown was within walking distance. I had come for hiking so I was not around too much but the space had everything I needed, including parking in front of the home. If you are looking for something super high end this is not for you. It is comfortable, down-to-earth, and cute. You will have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the property and there is a large step into the tub so I recommend for those comfortable with that. The space is at the back of the house and you do get the entire space to yourself. I was very happy with the instructions and subsequent expedient responses to my questions. I would recommend this location. It is great for sightseeing, wine tasting, and local hiking.

We had such a wonderful time staying in the little vintage apartment. Everything was clean and so wonderful, including the retro kitchen. It was within walking distance to EVERYTHING! We will definitely stay there during our next visit.

We ejoyed the retro feeling of this place, the old stove, old refrigerator which was still cold! Decor was very well thought out. Kudos!. My wife has trouble with steps, but took her time and did well. The bed was extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend for a long weekend.

The unit was pretty much as pictured. The two air-conditioning units were pretty loud and went off and on during the night. But the amenities were good and we enjoyed our stay.

Very cute apartment!

Great vintage kitchen and cute bathroom! The location is perfect, close to all the Andy Griffith tourist locations and to downtown area for shopping, close enough to walk to if you can. The neighborhood is very quiet and we felt very safe.

Great place and walkable to town!

Very cute vintage decor! Clean and had everything we needed! We enjoyed our time in Mt. Airy and all the unique breweries, cocktail bar, restaurants, and the Cinco de Mayo event on Friday.

Cozy and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay very much. Ideally located within walking distance to town. Quiet street and a lovely space. The vintage appliances give off a perfect extension to the Mayberry vibe of Mount Airy Main Street!

Lovely Retro Apartment

A lovely stay in a retro apartment with all we needed in an open kitchen/living room area. It was spotless with a lovely comfortable bedroom and great shower over retro metal tub. It was a short walk to Main Street shops and museums which we really enjoyed.

Adorable place!!

This was such an amazing find! Cute little place tucked away in this small but lively town. The host was so kind and helpful. We were just down the street from all the shops and the people there are so friendly. We will definitely be back!

I had a great time in Mayberry!! The apartment was clean and cozy. Loved the vintage kitchen and bathroom. Also, the king size bed was excellent!! When in town, I would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the hosts for a wonderful stay!!
