Wonderful stay. Large room with beautiful views of the mountains in the distant at the back and a little balcony overlooking the lovely garden space at the property. Friendly staff and comvenient location for driving around the coast.

The room was a bit grubby (especially the fridge which had not been cleaned), and definitely needs some upgrades. Some resident locals seem to have taken over the hostel (being loud in the corridor and sort of dominating the communal spaces). There was no backpacker vibe at all.

The house was incredibly spacious and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable as was the stylish furniture. We all felt the house had a lot of charm and character plus there was a lovely garden area with a lemon tree, a grapefruit tree and a play shed for children. We wished we had ...

Lovely town. Sunday Market was great and worth the visit. Moutere Hills Winery was exceptional for our family lunch. Local Hotel had a courtesy vehicle to get back to motel which was much appreciated. As the walk was too far from town.
Busy, bustling cosmopolitan town with lots of interesting shops and excellent Sunday market. Check out European Bakery for their croissants and Smoking Barrels - interesting selection of burgers. Very family friendly place, loads of playgrounds.
Lovely quiet place, close to beaches and orchards but atill with amenities of big towns. Just the perfect place to get away and unwind
