"Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. Not enough room for 4 adults, but it was perfect for my husband and myself. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady working in reception who was wonderful and very understanding when we accidentally booked the wrong date for checking out. "Second Nature Southampton is a lovely hotel. The room we had was spacious and clean, with a nicely sized bathroom. It’s not a far walk to Oxford Street, where you can find a collection of good restaurants and pubs. St. Mary’s Stadium, the goal of our trip, was an easy twenty minute walk away. The friendly front desk staff can get a little overwhelmed, as they have to attend to check-ins and the cafe; and if you have an email with your parking confirmation, have it ready, otherwise you may be told to park on the street. Overall, they do their best to accommodate you. So if you’re going to Southampton, Second Chance is a fine choice for lodging."

"We have stayed at the Harbour hotel on a number of occasions, as well as many other hotels in the area. The hotel is in a great location, has a pool and spa, and in our opinion is the best hotel in Southampton. That said, the room we were allocated appeared to be an apartment rather than a hotel room. It had a full-sized kitchen, but most appliances had been disabled, but the room had little cupboard space for hanging clothes. As we were staying for 4 days, this was impractical. The room also didn't have a phone, so we had to use our mobile to phone reception."

"Staff were nice and attentive. Breakfast was mediocre but still good. Didn’t accept cash at the restaurant which was too bad for a traveller. Rooms were a little small and in need of an update but for a cheaper hotel, was a great stay. Nice and close walking distance to lots of attractions in Southampton."
