"The hotel was in a great location, which was definitely the best part of the stay. However, the hotel itself felt quite run down, with noticeable water damage and very dated rooms and common areas. It did not feel like a 4-star hotel and was overpriced for the overall condition and experience provided."

"This place is magical! Terrace has an excellent view. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Showers are European small. Staff is so nice. Spa looked nice, didn’t get an appointment because I waited too late. The Opatija area is just gorgeous. Free swimming areas set up in the Adriatic Sea, right outside the hotel. Walking path along the sea. I wanted to stay a week but only booked 2 days."

"Definitely a boutique experience - felt exclusive and luxurious. Gorgeous sea views from the room and restaurant. The food was gourmet quality: truffle egg for breakfast! Wonderful staff. A great stay."

"Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich gut instand gehalten. Das Gebäude ist recht gross. Je nach dem wo das Zimmer ist, muss man recht viel laufen. Schöne Aussicht. Pool ebenfalls. In Hauptsaison ist der pool sicherlich zu klein. Schönes Spielzimmer für Kinder vorhanden. Minibar im Zimmer leer. Nicht mal eine Wasserflasche im Zimmer. Rezeption interessiert das nicht auch nach Nachfrage. Parkplatz extragebühren 20-/Tag. Wollten unser Aufenthalt um 1 Tag verschieben (in Nebensaison, hotel fast leer), dann hat es geheissen, sie haben keine Verfügbarkeiten. Nicht motiviert, um etwas für die Gäste zu tun."

"The hotel needs a refresh! Carpet was thread bare and the stairs leading to the beach were in desperate need of a good cleaning. All little things that add up to a not so good rating. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Buffet breakfast was good."

"I really wanted to love this place. It has so much potential, and the interior design is great. However, sadly, my 2 nights there weren't as expected. 1. The pool was full ot bugs and flies and, overall, less clean than you would like it to be. 2. The bigger issue is that our shower broke the moment we used it, and then the water was dripping (not a little) throughout our stay... 3. The wifi is totally choppy, so if you want to work, you need to tether. 4. Lastly, the moment people arrived at the room next door, it felt as if we were in a dormitory ...you could hear everything they did or said. As luck has it, they werre also a group of inconsiderate guests and were up and about way after it's polite in a hotel setting. For the price, sadly, the quality wasn't there. "
