Good access to the slopes at the bottom end of the resort. Apartment was generally clean and well stocked. Bathrooms could do with modernising but fully functional. Communication with the host was excellent. The views from the apartment were stunning. Check-in process was haphazard - apartment not ready at 4pm - but with the assistance of Marie, we got there in the end.
We spent a nice stay in the duplex appartement as a family of 5 with our three young adults/ teens. It is small but well equipped and convenient. It is exactly as presented in the description and pictures. The beds were confortable (my tallest kid is 1.75m). We had to communicate a few times with the owner and the agency and both were very responsive and helpful. The location is right on the slopes and practical.Thanks for the warm welcome and the great stay

Excellent Family Apartment
Really nice apartment well presented and in an excellent location for the slopes. Ski locker has direct access to the slopes. Would suggest using the Prodains cable car if a getting a transfer from Geneva, as quicker and much easier than using the main entrance and taxi's/horses. Ideal for a family of four although we had six and it was not a problem. Well decorated and very comfortable in a quiet location. Will be booking again at sometime in the future.

Lovely & spacious chalet apartment in convenient location
We (family of 4, children <10yrs) stayed here for two weeks, and it made for a lovely home-from-home and base for our ski holiday. The fact that the kids had a separate bedroom, that there are 2 bathrooms and a decent size kitchen/ living/ dining makes this a great option for a longer stay. The ski locker room is ski-in, ski-out. The apartment is a little removed from the village centre, which makes for a quiet location but also a need to plan shopping trips. Only thing missing is a dedicated ski boot room in the building.

Amazing views & location!
We were very pleased with the location of the apartment. Right across from the Prodains cablecar. The views were spectacular! The apartment had all the equipment & supplies we needed to prepare meals if we wanted. The beds were comfortable, even the sofa-beds were like proper beds in comfort.
I would have given 5 stars, but towels were not included, and beds were not made. You have to make the beds on arrival, and strip the beds for departure. It is the first time we had to do that, and we travel a lot around the world using Homeaway & Airbnb.
We also had trouble communicating with the local contact when we arrived. We only got a recorded message in French, so we did not know if we had the right contact. So checking in was a bit confusing.
Marie Claude was very good with communicating with us, and when we had a problem with the Wifi, she was able to have it fixed quickly.

We had a wonderful family time ! The apartment is very small for the seven of us, very little space to hang out but very functional, it had everything we needed. The kitchen is very well equipped and having two complete bathrooms is an asset. The location is excellent, practically in front of the Prodain Express and the lift. A little outwards, which makes it a calm place. It is 10 minute walk to the main street where are most of the restaurants and stores and supermarkets. Very good communication with the owner to solve any issue. Excellent overall.

Gemütliche Wohnung direkt im Skigebiet
Die gut ausgestattete Wohnung liegt direkt an der Skipiste von Avoriaz mit direktem Zugang zur Piste vor dem Haus. Im Umkreis von 50m befinden sich verschiedene Skilifte. Die Wohnung verfügt über einen Balkon mit schöner Aussicht. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Wohnung war sauber. Für 4 Personen war die Wohnung optimal. Die Vermieterin war sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend. Wir danken ihr hiermit für ihre Bemühungen.

Empfehlenswerte FeWo in guter Lage
Zweckmäßig eingerichtete FeWo mit extrem guter Lage im Skigebiet. Check in leider erst um 18 Uhr möglich, obwohl laut FeWo direkt ab 16 Uhr . In der kleinen Küche ist alles vorhanden.

Fantastic location, fantastic apartment
This is a return visit to the apartment, and as before it was perfect. Like other reviewers we came up from Morzine on the cable car, much better than the winding road, the queue of traffic and the wait for transfer down to the apartment.
The apartment has everything we needed for a great week, having two bathrooms really helps with two teenagers, plus to be able to relax in the bath is just what is needed after a day on the slopes.
Being so close to the lifts means that you can beat the morning queues (especially in half term) and get to 'first lift' without having to be up at the crack of dawn.
Many thanks - hopefully be renting again next year.

Super séjour à Avoriaz - beau Duplex tout confort
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine de ski à Avoriaz ! Très bon accueil dans l'appartement confortable (nous étions 5 personnes) et chaleureux de la famille Cante, propre, très bien équipé, rien ne manque pour notre confort et même un cadeau de bienvenue nous y attendait (vin + biscuits).
Etant au 5ème et dernier étage permet d'avoir une belle vue dégagée et est préservé du bruit ! Très bien situé, skis aux pieds et proche de l'arrivée du téléphérique des Prodains ce qui est très pratique.
En face de l'immeuble se trouve une petite épicerie de produits locaux et approvisionné de pain frais et viennoiseries pour le petit déjeuner ! En face également un ascensseur public pour se rendre rapidement au centre village.
Merci à Madame Cante d'avoir toujours été soucieuse de notre bien être !
Nous recommandons ce Duplex pour passer de belles vacances à Avoriaz.

Great week in Avoriaz!
We have just come back from a great week in Avoriaz - helped by 5 days of brilliant skiing and boarding in the sunshine!
The flat is really, really well located, just 50m from the Prodains lift and had everything we needed. The galley kitchen is small but was sufficient for 4 of us. We ate all our breakfasts, most of our evening meals and none of our lunches in the flat. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery, pans, etc.. as well as a dishwasher which was useful.
The main bedroom is plenty big enough and the smaller (bunk bed) room is quite little. There are two bathrooms and non-stop hot water. The boot / ski room at the bottom of the block opens onto the slope down to a choice of 3 chair lifts - with two more lifts a short walk away.
The block was quiet in the evenings (we could make out some music at late lunchtime from the restaurant below). The walk into the centre of Avoriaz (supermarket, restaurants, village des enfants, etc..) is less than 5 minutes. There is a bakery immediately opposite the block, as well as a choice of cafes & restaurants that are open during the day.
We were made to feel welcome by both the owner and the letting agent in resort who met us on arrival. We were given useful information about the flat and the resort when we booked and there was plenty of good local information in the flat. We would definitely stay here again.

Un petit nid douillet à Avoriaz
Nous avons passé la semaine de Noël à Avoriaz et nous y reviendrons sûrement : l'appartement est très bien situé au pied des pistes, juste à côté de l'arrivée du télésiège des Prodains. Il est confortablement équipé et très bien agencé. Nous étions 6, avec suffisamment d'espace pour nos affaires et sans se gêner grâce aux 2 salles de bains. Il est isolé par rapport aux voisins du fait de son entrée indépendante, et c'est vrai que nous entendons le ballet des déneigeuses certains soirs tard et/ou tôt certains matin, mais cela nous rappelle que nous sommes dans une station de ski et cela ne nous a pas empêché de bien dormir dans des lits très confortables.
La propriétaire est très réactive pour répondre à nos questions et pour nous donner des conseils.
A savoir : le magasin qui vend des produits locaux juste en face reçoit tous les jours du bon pain frais, et vend tout le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner (y compris le café chaud pour le premier matin si on n'a pas eu le temps de faire les courses !).

Appartement spacieux et extrêmement bien placé
Cet appartement spacieux et lumineux dispose d'une grande terrasse sans vis à vis disposant d'une vue exceptionnelle, il est de plus tout proche du téléphérique permettant un accès très pratique.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme de la résidence et les nombreux équipements laissés à notre disposition (nécessaire à crêpes, raclette ;...).
Après cet excellent séjour nous recommandons sans hésitation ce logement.

Du soleil et du confort
Très agréable séjour où rien ne manque, ni le confort. On a profité de tout , raclette, pierrade et soleil sur la terrasse. Nous avons été accueillis avec une bonne bouteille de vin, ce qui est rare et avec l'essentiel de l'indispensable lorsqu'on arrive dans un appartement loué. Le fond pour la cuisine et pour les commodités, un détail très important! Et au pied des pistes!

Appartement charmant et emplacement Extra.
Un appartement charmant pour nous qui ne connaissions que les appartements "cage à poule". Fenêtre dans la chambre des filles ce qui est rare. Terrasse assez grande pour nous 4, Vue magnifique, intimité des adultes en haut, ascenseur qui mène au casier : plus qu'à mettre ses bottines et hop c'est parti ...Rien à porter.
La description de la location et de sa situation était précise.
La location était propre et bien entretenue.
Oui oui nous recommandons cette location à nos amis .
Point négatif : la météo mais ça on ne peut rien y faire ; -)

Séjour parfait, idéal pour les vacances d'hiver
Cet appartement est la parfaite combinaison de tous les éléments qui ont rendu notre séjour parfait!!
L'emplacement est idéal, nous offrant une proximité avec les commerces et restaurants de la station, tout en étant au coeur du domaine skiable, ce qui nous permet de chausser les skis dès la sortie, très appréciable!!!
L'appartement, entièrement meublé et très bien agencé, met à notre disposition, en plus du matériel hifi et wifi, tout le nécessaire pour goûter aux spécialités locales (raclette, fondue...).
En bref, un cocon très agréable que vous serez heureux de retrouver après une bonne journée sur les pistes. Et le petit bonus, une vue magnifique sur les montagnes enneigées au réveil.
Notre séjour fut très réussi et c'est en grande partie grâce à ce logement!!!
