Top Morton Castle Hotel Reviews
White Hart Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"For what we required it was amazing clean beds, rooms and bathrooms secure breakfast was outstanding, full Scottish cooned to order hot snd plentiful"
Days Inn by Wyndham Lockerbie Annandale Water
8/10 Good
"I thought l'd already done this, but everything was fine, except it took me an hour to find it from being sold by my sat nav that l had arrived then it went dead! I was on a very dark motorway with no sign of an exit, l went round the countryside for ages, till someone told me you could only get at it from junction. 16, when going north ( not at all from the other way!) Please sent instructions to every guest!!!"
The Huntingdon B&B
10/10 Excellent
"Nice property, scrupulously clean, with quality fixtures parking off-road outside the property breakfast choices were good though we didn’t eat"
The Hill Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Hill Hotel is located in a quiet location, but is only a 10-15 minute walk into the center of Dumfries. The building interior has been lovingly restored, and is very clean. The owners are very friendly and gave us lots of great advice about places to visit in the surrounding areas. A very good breakfast too! Highly recommended."
Balmoral Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Our room was big and very comfortable and the mini fridge with water and fresh milk was a nice touch. The shower door was a bit dodgy and needs looking at. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent and all cooked to order. Service was pleasant and efficient. We found a free parking space directly opposite the hotel and, even though it is on the main road through Moffat, we didn't find it noisy or too busy to cross the road. If you were there for long enough, it's worth noting that the Edinburgh bus leaves from outside the hotel making a day trip to the capital possible without using the car. We would use this hotel again if in the area."
Days Inn by Wyndham Abington M74
8/10 Good
"Was ok for a nights sleep. No air con so might be hot if it’s warm out."
Aberdour Guest House
8/10 Good
"A very decent hotel 5 mins from the train station. Room was hot (July) even with the window open, which was not ideal due to the constant noise of the seagulls (an unfortunate consequence of them being protected for some reason!) Nice staff/owner. Good breakfast. Good value for money."
Dumfries Villa
8/10 Good
"Breakfast was lovely, room is a little out dated but clean, parking was fine, staff very friendly "
Hamilton House
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely property, very helpful owners, excellent breakfast"
