"The saunton sands hotel is fantastic. the only issue i has is that i could only afford to book a single room for the week and when i got there they were kind enough to upgrade me for free to a double room, the room its self for £795 for 4 nights in March i thought was a little underwhelming. "The pool was cold and sauna wasnt working. These were two of the main reasons we booked the stay. I rang before booking to ensure a pet friendly property was available and no one mentioned this. The accomodation was very basic with a really hard bed in the master. The kettle leaked from the base, there was broken glass underneath my son’s bed and one of the seats of the sofa was collapsed.
