I did spent a lot of time in the pool and the pool is rather nice (albeit small... it is an indoor pool after all). The fitness room was half broken so it was a lot like there wasn't one. "Cozy, quite, relaxing cabin, well stocked, well decorated with quality furniture, very clean, relaxing creek right off the the back porch, few sightings of wildlife (large red-headed woodpecker and a few deer) and of course....the large firepit & charcoal grill, where family visited & ate for the day. Highly recommend. Will re-visit in the future."

"Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used...

"My best friend and I stayed at the cabin for 3 nights and found the cabin to be very clean and smelled great. The booking and check in process was seamless. It was a great experience, so quiet and quaint. A great relaxing get-a-way. We really enjoyed the natural lighting provided by the two sky lights in the kitchen/dining area. The main bedrooms are upstairs which might be helpful to note on the listing. Highly recommend."

"Peggy was VERY helpful, by providing information in the room for Groundhog Day. Her communication was thoughtful (providing check-in information, a hand-drawn map of the surrounding streets and highlighting the parking, and a list of local restaurants in Clearfield). There was a kitchen and full-sized refrigerator, as well as soda / candy / chips available to purchase on the honor system (it was good for my kids to see that). This was beyond perfect, and I couldn't recommend it more. "
