"Great place about 100m from Water, but surrounded by beach/sand. Short walk along beach to Morondava sign past several smaller resorts and some SL persistent hawkers (but not threatening). Water not v conducive to swimming. Pools lovely but not much in the way of amenities (a sloped pool table). ..."

Lovely lodge in Morondava
"Had a beautiful stay at Maison Charrette. The hotel grounds were peaceful and charming. Our room was bright and airy and had a private porch. Food was great and the staff and owners were so warm and kind. We wish we had more time there!"
