Bed and Breakfast in Morin Heights

"Pros: we had a clean room with a nice view of the forest behind the motel. The thermostat worked efficiently to adjust the temperature as I wanted it. The breakfast was simple continental style with hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, muffins, cereal, etc, and the bagels were delicious. There is free coffee/tea/water dispenser available 24/7 in the lobby. The check-in and check-out was fast, less than a minute. Easy parking, plenty spots available. The staff were helpful and friendly whenever I asked for something, even if they couldn't provide it. Cons: The hot-tub was disgusting; cloudy yellow water with something chunky floating around. The pool was cold and the hot tub wasn't very hot either. The whole reason we chose this hotel was for the hottub and waterslide, so it was really disappointing that we couldn't enjoy it. There were kids running in the hallways throughout the morning and evening, which is fine for families, but not a good hotel to stay if you need quiet. They provide a teeny tiny bottle of regular shampoo and don't provide hair conditioner at all, but they do provide makeup wipes, which is a weird choice. The lights lighting up the facade of the hotel are so bright at night, that when you close the blackout curtains, it looks like daylight. I had a terrible sleep because I kept waking up thinking it was morning. Finally, no alarm clock in the room, I've never stayed in a hotel room without a clock at all anywhere, another weird choice. "This is definitely one of our favourite hotels in the world. Much as we want to gatekeep this property, we want to see its continued success. The decor is impeccably curated, a perfect balance of modern finishings with antique furnishings. The bed and bedding create a cloud to sleep on. We will always return. One thing - please go back to the Molton Brown bath and body items. Occitane is ok but nowhere near as good as MB! "

"Clean room"

"When we arrived the young lady at the desk was nice and pleasant gave us 3 keys - only one worked. Went to the room and there were no towels in the room at all, no robes as advertised for the spa features. When I went to ask the young lady at the desk I was given 3 towels for the pool and asked to make sure I gave them back before heading back to our room. I figured the towels would be brought while we were swimming so we could shower after but they weren’t. We left for supper, came back - still no towels. Went back down to the front desk where the young lady then handed me towels unfolded from a bin. I asked if we could also get a facecloths and was met with some attitude. Our bathroom ceiling lights were burnt out but the mirror light did work. The hottub was a shade of green and very dirty but the pool was clean. My kids had fun swimming"

"We had an amazing stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless. The highlight was definitely the hot tub , relaxing in it at night while surrounded by snowy nature and a sky full of stars made the experience unforgettable."
