"Cycling London to Paris. This was our first stop. No bike storage, but chained to railings in full sight of 24hr reception. Hotel was very nice, and looking at staying here again. Food was delicious, including evening buffet. Staff were very helpful, including escorting us to see the chef to discuss vegetarian buffet options (and help with language barrier). Unfortunately, we did not have a long enough stay to enjoy the hotel's facilities (pool, spa, golf, grounds, etc), but would look at staying here again. "

"Absolutely fabulous - a lovely house in a beautiful village. Cécile is a charming host and nothing is too much trouble. We opted for the Suite de la Chapelle - a superb room with excellent views - well worth the higher charge. The Table d´hôte was delicious and fantastic value. Do go there!"

"Mon séjour à Bures-en-Bray :Cette vieille maison pittoresque m'avait déjà beaucoup plu rien qu'en regardant les photos sur Internet. Je dirais presque : le coup de foudre ! Non seulement elle semble tout droit sortie d'une autre époque, plus paisible, mais elle respire et dégage littéralement une atmosphère « à l'ancienne ». Pendant le petit-déjeuner dans le jardin, avec les roses devant la maison, les hirondelles, les merles, les moineaux et le chat du voisin se disent « bonjour ». La cuisine dispose de tout le nécessaire pour faire de la pâtisserie, cuisiner et préparer du café et du thé. De la vaisselle et des couverts simples de différents types sont disponibles en quantité suffisante. On a l’impression d’être en visite chez sa (arrière-)grand-mère. Deux chambres sont équipées de lits doubles confortables. La « chambre des dames » est un petit rêve… Si vous aimez le confort simple, loin du bruit et de l'agitation, vous trouverez ici le calme. Pratique : bon point de départ pour des excursions, des balades à vélo et des randonnées. Idéal pour 2 adultes qui souhaitent passer une nuit tranquille seuls dans un lit. De nombreux jeux sont à votre disposition dans le salon. D'autres se trouvent dans la deuxième chambre, en haut à gauche dans l'armoire.Livres : oui... très nombreux !Les produits d'entretien sont disponibles en quantité suffisante. Si l'on me demande si je louerais à nouveau cette maison, ma réponse est un « OUI » sans hésitation."

"We had a lovely stay here with our two-year-old. The barn has been beautifully decorated, the room was spacious and the countryside around is stunning. Adrien and Nathalie were so welcoming and friendly, and we hope to come back again!"

"We just spent the easter weekend there as a group of 9; 6 adults and 3 kids (aged 9 to 5). The property itself is beautiful and picturesque of a french villa. The added bonus of an indoor pool, with hot tub and sauna was why this place was a winner. The kids had soo much fun and there are plenty if games and toys for the kids too. One detail to mention is that the annexe part of the building is apparently for groups of 10. I opted to purchase this additionally once we got there as the bathroom/shower facilities to accommodate 6 adults was not suitable for us. The open bath in the upstairs bedroom was not practical for us, so the 4 adults in the main building shared the one bath shower in the downstairs room. The annexe was comfortable for me, my husband and 3 kids. The only let down here was the lack of hot water available. 2 of us showered one afternoon after swimming and we had no hot water after that and until we left the next day, so had to use the pool shower which is open. I informed Darina and she was very apologetic and couldn't understand why. My point here being that she was contactable and very helpful throughout our stay. She always responded to my messages and we had a few questions whilst there. I would highly recommend this for families that are able to share shower rooms. The garden is soo big and beautiful. All in all we had a great time here and created some wonderful memories. If you are thinking to book something that will keep the kids entertained, do it."
