3BR 3 Bath home with hot tub eight minutes from Cave Run Lake

Hunter's Cove is a beautiful 3 bed and 3 bath with hot tub.  Privacy abounds and so does relaxation.  There's plenty of room for friends and family and your boats. There are five sleeper sofas scattered throughout the house.  On the main floor you'll find a furnished kitchen, living/dining room, and the master bedroom with an attached bathroom with a tiled double shower.  In the basement there are two more bedrooms, one with two sets of full bunks, and one with a queen bed, and a full bathroom.  There is also pool table and air hockey in the basement to keep family time exciting, along with a hot tub on the basement patio.

There is an attached two car garage that you are welcome to use to back your boat into and charge all your accessories.

Hunters Cove is 10 minutes away from the renown, Cattleman’s Steakhouse in Morehead.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

- Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

- Kindly remember to clean up after your dog by picking up any feces before your departure.

- Please be aware that there will be a $50.00 fee per pet.

- Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.

Great Place for Family Gathering

Our family gathered to celebrate a 50th birthday party. 6 adults and two boys (6 & 8) stayed at the property. We had 8 extended family members join us for the party. With that many folks it was easy to gather for a meal but with plenty of room so that it was not crowded. 4 star rating because of lack of towel and luggage racks. Kitchen was well stocked. Laundry room was very nice to have.

Nice location, home description is accurate. Be aware that the master bedroom has two separate showers but no closet to hang clothes. It is suggested that a TV be added to the downstairs game area.

House was awesome and clean. Great location for acess to Cave Run. The house was spacious and country feeling. The 2 beds in the bedrooms are way to high and hard to get on and off. Needs changed and should be kings.

Kentucky Christmas

We have family in 3 different states and this little house was the perfect equal distant location. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary equipment and very spacious, the table easily sat 6 adults. The house in general was very spacious, very clean and comfortable. We had plenty to do while we enjoyed each others company! We hope to be back in the future!

Great location!

The home is located in a small community with trees and winding roads. It is close enough to conveniences should you forget something. The home is large with plenty to do right in the house. We were also able to take a walk around the neighborhood and a hike in a park with a lake just a short drive away. The huge master shower is amazing! The pullout couches are a plus. Appreciated the startup of many essentials and availability of cleaning supplies to keep the house tidy during our stay. Additionally, communication with Den was helpful!

Wonderful stay with family

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at this home near Cave Run Lake. The location was perfect for attending our nieces wedding at the venue that was walking distance away. The house had plenty of room for our family of 6 and we really enjoyed the outdoor spaces as well as the lower level game room. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nice with modern appliances. Downtown Morehead and Cave Run Lake were only minutes away. The only recommendations I would have would be to have TV’s in the bedrooms and game room with local channel access. We hope to come back next time we visit family in the area.

Great place, peaceful location! It was a great jumping off point for our motorcycle riders to tour the eastern part of Kentucky. Then to come back for an enjoyable relaxing evening before the next days ride. Added benefits were close by Pops BBQ, great food nice atmosphere and Covered biker parking. Oh did I mention the ice cream? There is a great pizza place Elliott’s close by and also Family Dollar with groceries. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes a peaceful place to relax and unwind, and Cave Run Lake is close by if you are boaters. Plus it is just off I64. Ride Hard, Ride Free

Perfect location for a fall wedding at Meadowview Events

Immaculate. We hosted out of town family for our son's wedding that was held at Meadowview Events. It was a 5 minute walk, I mean, if we were the walking kind of family. The kitchen was stocked with quality cookware and coffee pot. The bunk beds are full size and the queen beds were divine. Easily the best beds we've slept in while traveling. The pullout sofas were clean and comfortable according to my older kids who set up camp there. Bathrooms were roomy and felt luxurious. And let me tell you about the hot tub! Nothing felt better after a long day of wedding prep than lowering myself into that hot, bubbling cauldron of water. Bliss! This is a terrific property that was worth every single dollar we paid.

Lovely home and property!

This home is large and beautiful! So many windows! The grounds are beautiful too. There is plenty of parking room and we were easily able to come and go from the property. . This lovely home was furnished with plenty of towels, sheets, and so many other necessaries as we stayed there for one week. There were five of us sleeping there, but sometimes family members from the area joined us for gatherings and meals, and we enjoyed being able to have them visit because there was so much seating available. The large kitchen counter areas were awesome! . Though more side tables and a larger indoor dining table would be appreciated, the outdoor deck seating was very adequate. The area is private and surrounded by trees. We did not use the hot tub, both saw that it was ready for use. . Communications with the property manager were *excellent*! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great House but Not-So-Great Check In Process

The management company uses their own management system outside of Vrbo which resulted in issues with the check-in process and contacting the management company. This lead to us not being able to enter the house the first day of our stay and spending a lot of time on the phone with Vrbo customer support. The second day there was a contractor that showed up to work on the hot water heater completely unbeknownst to us as the management company did not communicate this. The house was terrific but due to the messy check-in process and lack of communication it left the family with a rather poor experience. Great house, not-so-great management of the rental property.
