OCEAN PANORAMA: Beachfront, quiet, & pet friendly home with gorgeous ocean views

Feel at home at the beach! Enjoy the beautiful views of the Atlantic from our back porch, pool, and hot tub; bring your pets, family, and friends! Don't let the photos fool you, we are ocean front and just a short walk down a boardwalk to the beach. Our home is located mid-island, a short drive to Emerald Isle proper. Enjoy the short walk through the the Theodore Roosevelt Nature Preserve to quiet, semi-private white beaches. While this quiet location does boast a secluded beach experience; you’ll stay current with our complimentary High-speed Spectrum WiFi internet access. Our fully furnished home features an open kitchen/living space, three full bathrooms, including master bed/bath with a king sized bed. Full and twin bed in one bedroom, with a queen in the other (linens provided). Savor the comfort of covered and open decks with great views of the Atlantic, island, and sound. Amenities include: enclosed hot/cold outside shower, charcoal grill, carport, dishwasher, washer/dryer, two cable TVs including large 60” flat screen in living area with plenty of seating!

Monthly rental rates available upon request.

Check in and out is Saturday during the normal season. Due to VRBO's new cancelation policy I was forced to restrict bookings to those days; however, in the off season we can offer alternative check in/out days, so feel free to inquire.

Respite before wedding...

We were looking for a week of R&R before our daughter's wedding the following weekend. Liked the location and view most of all -- lots of birds on the beach and in the reserve. Quiet neighbors and relatively few people on the beach. Nice to have the pool and hot tub as the ocean was pretty rough during our stay. Great beach walks. Host was quick to respond when we had question/issue with the hot tub. House is as advertised.

Lovely view of the ocean

We really enjoyed walking on the beach with our doggie. The house has huge windows right onto decks and the ocean. I was able to have coffee on the top deck, then another time, just enjoy the sun - before the big snow storm! Thanks, Dan, for your wonderful communication.

Beautiful views

The views were gorgeous and the location to the beach was perfect, private yet very accessible. The pool was a huge part of our rental decision, and it did not disappoint. The inside of house could use some help but overall we had a relaxing vacation.

Gorgeous Beach

Very relaxing trip. No need to even leave the property. Having your own pool is wonderful. Dan is an excellent property owner. We hope to come back to this beautiful location!

Salter Path vacation

The location has one of the best oceans views on the island. the house was very clean. The pool was one of the best features of the house. The only recommendation I would make is that the kitchen and bathrooms do need an upgrade.

Ocean Getaway

This was our third year staying at Ocean Panorama. The interior had just been repainted. Everything was great for our stay, from the condition of the house and pool to the perfect weather. The property manager checked in to make sure all was well. We love this house and plan on returning next year.

Best Beach Vacation Ever

We had an excellent week at Ocean Panorama! The location is fabulous. You have privacy but are close to restaurants. The views from the house are amazing! The setup of the house was perfect for our family of 4. The master bath is very spacious and has plenty of storage for toilitries. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was very well stocked. The house was very clean when we arrived. Communication with the owner was very quick. We will definitely be back next year!

What a view, i've been visiting this Island for 55+ years and this was the best view of them all, a front row seat to the beach, ...while the house may not be a " luxury" accommodation, the location certainly is, it was clean and everything was in working order, the Hot Tub was nice to have in the cool evenings, and the pool although not heated was enjoyable during the day...the deck was fantastic w/ shade if necessary, so overall I hope we can return next year at this same time...it was a sunny 72-78 degrees w/ some breeze which is perfect in my opinion! This was a great value vacation !

Great Family Vacation Spot!!

The house was fantastic and the pool was amazing! We had a total of 6 of us, including 2 grandparents and 2 children and everyone had more than enough room. The pool even has a little shallow sitting area where my 3 year old could play with an adult nearby if she didn't want to go in the big pool area. The hot tub was a nice addition too! We had an issue with a toilet upon arrival and Dan was super responsive and came over to address the issue quickly. He was very attentive to our needs and very friendly! The house has a short walk to the beach and the beach was never crowded. The views from the top balcony were also really great and our little dog loved sitting out there each day with us! I highly recommend this house for a relaxing family vacation that everyone can enjoy! Thanks, Dan!!

1st beach week with our dog

We stay on this island all the time each summer- usually at Atlantic beach but sometimes Emerald Isle or Indian beach. This year was our first needing a dog friendly place and we loved it here! The balcony/porch was by far my favorite place to be as I could sit and soak in the views and sounds of the ocean without getting sandy if I wanted to have a break from the beach itself- always had some shade and always with a breeze. my husband would say the pool was his favorite- and the main reason we chose this house over others- he really wanted the luxury of a private pool. He especially loved the long float to just lay on and chill. The house has lots light and space which I loved. It’s a much quicker walk to the beach than the picture suggests. Very quiet beachfront -near a big condominium building where there were always a ton of people when the weather was good but there was a huge gap between them and us. With a teen, having a smart TV was imperative so we could watch Netflix or prime video at night or when the weather wasn’t great. There are a lot of stairs- so be wary if limited mobility- but I found it a good way to get more exercise on the quieter days. We have a family member with crutches and he did fine- got in some strength training with them and there’s a railing all the way. Never used the hot tub (it’s summer in NC, so no need to be hotter). Easy communication with Dan. Would absolutely stay here again and 100% recommend!

Fabulous views!

This was our second time staying at Ocean Panorama. The house is in a great location. The views are amazing. We all enjoyed the pool area and hot tub as well as the beach. The house is stocked with almost everything we needed. The owner is great at communication. It was hard to leave.

Our private fun getaway

This property has everything! A pool, oceanfront, and very private. We also could bring our dog, who is part of the family. They host was great! Lots of places to go to eat and see, if you want to. A perfect place just to sit and relax and watch the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We definitely recommend it.

Ocean Getaway

My husband, two dogs and I enjoyed another great stay at Ocean Panorama. The house meets our needs perfectly. We love the views, the pool and proximity to the beach. Dan Hess is an excellent host. This was our 5th year staying here. We love it!

Great location.... Great stay... Awesome beach!!!

We recently stayed and we loved our vacation. While the house is a little older and the decor could use an update, it didn't take away from how much we enjoyed our vacation. The house is perfectly located between a condo complex and an reserve which means that you basically get the beach to yourself. The complex is far enough away that no one seems to come down far enough to make the beach crowded. In the week we were there, we were often one of 4 or 5 groups on the beach. The pool was great to have for the kids and gave us a break from the beach when the kids wanted a change of scenery. The owner, Dave, was awesome. We had a couple hiccups during our stay that were out of his control, but he did he best to help us fix the issues and enjoy our trip. In the end, we loved our time in Indian Beach and would come back again.

Lovely home close to everything

We had an amazing stay! The pool and hot tub were highlights. Ocean views from the decks were spectacular! We walked to the dollar general just about every day since it was right across the street. We did t want to leave!

Lovely Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation. The views were spectacular. We enjoyed having coffee on the front porch and looking for dolphins. The house was comfortable and quiet-perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed walks on the beach and fishing. We also enjoyed the hot tub and pool. We are looking forward to our next visit!
