"We (a family of 4 with two dogs) were really happy to stay here. It was cool, quiet and a fantastic location - close to a small, swimable beach and 100m to a lovely family run restaurant (you need to prebook). We would stay here again."

"Beautiful spot, but difficult to access without a rental car. We were travelling on foot/train/bus and we had to rely solely on the 2 or 3 taxis in the township. The walk was ok downhill, but very arduous going back (We're in our 70's). We chose Varenna as it much more affordable than Ballagio, and the views are simply breathtaking. With a car, this would have been perfect, but we also found that the locals were very accommodating and actually took us home in their own vehicles a few...

The only issue we had with the accommodation was trying to find it in the first place as we were walking and not with a car however, we called the owner and they helped to direct us ASAP! 😊 The property does also come with a pool adjacent which is not advertised. "

"Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wirklich hervorragend. Toller Ausblick vom Balkon, kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten an der Straße. Im Vorfeld hat man viele Informationen erhalten, sodass man alles schnell gefunden hat. Die Unterkunft selbst ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, relativ rustikal eingerichtet, das Sofa ist leider komplett durchgesessen. Es ist viel Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden. Wir hatten einige Probleme mit den Steckdosen, der Stecker der Waschmaschine passt nicht in die Steckdose....
