"an epic immersive Jamaican experience on a farm in the foothills of the Blue Mountains. friendly staff that goes the extra mile to ensure satisfactin with your meals, excursions etc."
"The view from the property overlooking the sea was beautiful and phenomenal. The room space was sufficient and clean. What I didn’t like was the fact that to get there, the drive up to the house was very steep and if you don’t know how to handle the drive, it’s problematic. The second thing I didn’t like was that while the property boasted about having a pool, it was only when me and my family arrived we were informed that the pool wasn’t working due to not filtering properly. "Endroit fantastique, vraiment propre et bien entretenu. Nous avons été pris soin, très bonne nourriture, matelas et oreillers très confortables, salle de bain propre. Nous avons pris un shuttle pour se rendre et revenir au début du sentier de Blue Mountain. Dire que nous étions hébergé chez Jay nous a permis de se sentir en sécurité dans cet environnement retiré"
"After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud....
"The room was not in the house as shown. It was not gated parking. The bathroom was dirty There was a frog in the toilet. The bed looked unmade and dusty. Decor was not welcoming and homey "

Very cozy, clean, close to Bob Marley Beach, Cane River Falls & close to airport
10/10 Excellent
"Staying here for my stay in Jamaica was definitely the right decision. As soon as we got there, Vincent took care of all of needs.
Shabba took us to the supermarket, to pick up food to cook. After we got supplies for dinner, we headed back in the direction of the guest house. He drove around for a few minutes until we found a fruit/vegetable stand. We bought suger cane, pineapple, plantains, coconuts, avocado, etc... Shabba negotiated with the vendor so they wouldn't over charge us.
Alti prepared dinner as we all decompressed a bit. In 2 hours we had an amazing home cooked meal. All that cost us $10 a head.
Let's get into the details of the neighborhood. Such a beautiful area. From the rooftop, all you see is rolling hills on one side, and the beach on the other side.
Bob Marley beach is a must. Go to Kamalas when you get there. She has a restaurant on the water. Excellent fish options.
The corn shop right across the street has such flavorful food. A full chicken dish with sides is 1k Jamaican. A great value.
I recommend walking to a bar or restaurant on Nanoo Rd during the day. That walk is beautiful and that area is a full of great local options.
All in all 10 out of 10. An absolute blessing that I chose that spot."
Charming 3-bedroom house in enchanting Fairy Hill with WiFi, AC
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay, the kids loved the house and we thought Edward was very responsive. It is a lovely house and convenient for our family. We would definitely return and would recommend to others. The house was very spacious and close to Winifred and Frenchman's cove beaches. The only recommendation I have is getting a dryer. It’s more convenient for guest and given it rains sometimes overnight or early morning there is less opportunity to have dry clothes for the next day. But otherwise your charming house is on the repeat list. We can't wait to return.. "

The second thing I didn’t like was that while the property boasted about having a pool, it was only when me and my family arrived we were informed that the pool wasn’t working due to not filtering properly. It would have been nice to know this beforehand to plan our entertainment properly. Up in the hills is very dark and the first night for us was a bit scary because there was no outside lights initially turned on, it was only after we contacted the owner that lights were turned on, which made me feel a lot safer. Thirdly, I understand the owner lives there and that’s fine, what I didn’t like was the fact that the clothes line was in almost direct view outside my door. It felt a little tacky to see clothing, including undergarments hanging there. While I do love the view from the property, I honestly wouldn’t stay there again. "
"To stay in this traditional boardhouse evoked memories of childhood growing up in Jamaica. Jay’s team of people couldn’t have been more pleasant and went out of their way to look after us. A short but very sweet visit to the Blue Mountains!"
