"Hotel Villa Retiro has two types of rooms: One type is classic, and the other is modern minimalist. Both are nice, and both are large and comfortable. "

"Wife and me were at the hotel for 8 days in May 2023 and very happy with our time there. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful (particulary Eva & Diane) most spoke English plus French and Spanish. The room was acceptable size and very clean - The food was good with several choices each evening"

"We had a heck of a time trying to get to L’argentera (no car!) but once we got there the town and especially L’Espai Abadia were wonderful. A great place to relax for a few days. A charming old house with a nice kitchen, a lovely patio and really welcoming staff. Had a splendid time :)"

"Great place to stay for a visit to Priorat wine county. There are many walkable wineries in town of Grattalops. As well as in the surrounding towns. The room is spacious, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was filling and tasty. I would recommend Hotel Cal Llop. "

"This place is stunning! Absolutely gorgeous. Definitely one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed. The only reason I didn’t give it full 5 stars is the room was quite warm. 24-25 degrees when you’re trying to sleep is a challenge. The staff were excellent and tried to have someone come fix it but generally even after it was 23-24 degrees and we’d prefer to be able to control the temps ourselves. But otherwise this place was amazing and I definitely recommend!"

The hotel offers a comfortable and pleasant experience, and we particularly enjoyed the included breakfast, which had a good variety of options. The only minor drawback is that parking can be a bit tricky, as the streets around the hotel tend to get busy. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone looking to explore the area"
