"Property was nice and easy access to the Bozeman Airport. Only complaint was it was raining and snowing outside, and I turned the heater on which it was making a loud annoying sound. Was making a loud noise the whole time I had it on, so I had to turn it off. We had to be up at 3am, and nobody was at the desk when we left. So I called and made a complaint, and never heard back from anyone about the issue."
"The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very large and comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of items to choose from and was open until 9:30 am, which we appreciated.
The location was perfect as it was a quick 5 minute drive to the entrance of the West Yellowstone National Park gate."
Old Faithful Snow Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park
2/10 Terrible
"Awful. WORST stay of 6 hotels during our trip - and the MOST expensive! . Major construction was not disclosed when booking. Pulled in not knowing if it was the right place - it was dark, no signage, entrance covered by scaffolding/tarps, no lighting outside at all. Commented on lighting to desk attendant - responded “yeah it’s dark out there”. Room was cramped and stuffy. Only circulation was an ancient & noisy tabletop fan unless you wanted to crank open the window to freezing temps - which we did for the first hour. Bed was hard and uncomfortable - I woke up stiff and sore. The power went out from 1am til 7am so not even the fan worked - woke up sweating. At 6:30am the construction crew outside our window woke us with clanging and backup beeping! No breakfast. No bags in the trash cans - expected us to sort our recycling into 3 categories. Gross and inconvenient. Thoroughly disgusted with this hotel. It felt like extortion of the highest possible price with the least amount of amenities and comfort possible. Someone’s money-maker. They couldn’t pay me to stay again."
"Staff was wonderful - helpful and friendly. Location was great for West Gate. Clean & adequate room. Bed not so comfy - I had to add my own memory foam topper. Bummed that the hot tub was not working - we had been really looking forward to that. Would try again."
