"We really enjoyed our week at the house - the location on the river was perfect, a beautiful private setting with easy access to grocery shopping, cafes. etc a few minutes away in Bath. The house was beautiful and very well appointed, with plenty of beautiful spaces to relax and unwind. We especially enjoyed the daily sightings of the bald eagles! The sitting area of the master bedroom suite was where we spent most of our time, and it was one the most comfortable and beautiful spaces we've ever stayed in. We can't recommend this house enough! Our pups also enjoyed the house and outdoor space, and we appreciated the dog bowls and crate."

"Overall our stay was nice. Any communication with the host was clear and quick with responses. Check-in was easy and clear. The living areas were comfy and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen essentials, outside of scissors and a drying dish rack. The bathroom was also well stocked with bathroom essentials. The cooling/heating/fan controls were a little finicky (eg. If you set to cool or fan it seemed to favor heating the spaces vs cooling). My overall gripe was with the hot tub. The hot tub was one of the selling point for me and was partly why I paid a little more for the stay. However the tub, although covered was very murky. It was unclear how long ago it had been refreshed/cleaned. After speaking with the host he was very apologetic and sounded like the issue with the hot tub would be fixed for the next guest. "

"Lovely home. Artfully decorated and well equipped. Warm responsive hosts. Great location from which to dip into the riches of mid coastal Maine even in inclement weather. Info provided was most helpful. Wonderful place to meet family or friends. Our multi-generational group all enjoyed the week together in this lovely setting. "

"Kitchen was above and beyond Large table in the dining room. Sun room was nice and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. All three bathrooms had good water pressure and hot water. Laundry room had everything we needed. The host would text to see if we needed anything and ask how things were going "

"The accommodation is quaint & interesting. Access to each room is through the other and the doorways are narrow. Everything i needed was supplied including plenty of information on Maine & the local area. The electricity & heating systems required some details before working correctly. Good, quiet & private location with Maes cafe and bakery 3 mins walk."
