"Spacious rooms, beautiful new pool, breakfast okay. Check out at 11am. Characterful building. No air con in rooms, fans were unavailable from reception. Lovely attentive staff but need more staff on site. Dining area needs updating. Overall good value for money. Hotel has huge potential to become 5* with investment."

"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. The room was large and comfortable although the bathroom was clean it was a little dated in design. The hotel restaurant was excellent with a lovely evening meal. Not the cheapest in town, but excellent quality and again, very friendly staff. "
