"The apartment is helpfully located near Tours city centre and is about a 25-minute walk from the station. It is very basic, but is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a stay: the excellent shower is definitely a highlight. The spiral staircase up the first floor is very steep and tight, so do bear that in mind. "I loved my stay here, it was exactly what I needed. The space was cozy and the garden was absolutely wonderful to spend time in. My hosts were communicative and so, so nice! My only note is that I was very excited about the rope hammock featured in the photos, but unfortunately it was no longer there when I arrived. But otherwise, great spot to enjoy Tours from, and all of France, or to get away and have some time to yourself. If coming in summer, be prepared for bugs and heat! "

"This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in its own grounds within easy reach of the city centre. The grounds are stunning and the buildings are very well maintained yet preserving the atmosphere of the chateau. The majority of the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, whilst parking is a luxury for hotels in the city, the parking garage is best suited for cars not much bigger than a Fiat 500. It’s very tight but once you get parked, the car is safe. Breakfast on the days of our trip was disappointing. The quality is very good but the eggs were cold, the yoghurt run out causing the team to run out to the supermarket, which also had run out. Only one hot drink machine was available causing a long wait for coffee. This was probably a bad day out of many good days but it took the shine away. Gents, you’ll need good old fashioned tight swimming trunks to use the pool. Alas, at 58 years old, it’s not a look that I can wear well these days, and as such, I didn’t use the pool."

"Parking was easy as the hotel had sent a map - it was underground & free as I booked with Hotels.com. Reception was a lovely lady with excellent English. Our room was spacious and had air conditioning which was wonderful as it was 38c outside! It was very quiet. Breakfast was wonderful such a choice with fresh bread cheeses fruit eggs cereal croissants everything and it was constantly refreshed. Would definitely stay again as good distance from the port"
