We booked two rooms and had a fabulous 3-night stay here. Both hotel receptionists were very welcoming; they were especially helpful giving us sightseeing details, great dining options nearby at the lakefront etc always with a cheerful face! Our rooms are comfortably spacious and have a balcony. This hotel has a laundry facility (just what we needed) and is conveniently located right next to the Montreux railway station and to the nearby tram stops. An ideal base for visitors like us to explore what Montreux has to offer!

The room was basic but adequate for our stay. The in-room refrigerator didn't work and we asked for a replacement, which never came. The front desk clerk was nice enough to get us an ice bucket every day though. The breakfast was good. The location to the train station was excellent. Cool theme and we happened to be in town during Freddy Days for his 80th birthday.

Located right at the end of the train station platform for ease of travel. Walkable to Lake Geneva and shopping. Helpful staff. Breakfast available although breakfast staff didn’t seem very happy and a little grumpy. Reception staff very friendly and I think it was the manager who was the best reception person we’ve ever dealt with. Friendly, informative and went out of her way to help us. She was the epitome of what hospitality should be like.

The property is right next to the train station and I wish someone told us that if you look you can see the hotel right there and you just need to walk down to the end of the platform… we followed Google Maps which took us down and up and much more of a challenge, so take a look before leaving the platform it’s right there and easy accessible. Yes you can here the trains but not bad, we slept through them no problem wasn’t that loud at all… they also stop running at midnight to 5 am. The hotel was great and great location. We were on the top floor and we had a amazing view of the lake and our own patio… one complaint they have A/C but you have zero control over the temp in your room which sucks when it’s hot out and your can’t make it cooler. However we slept with our patio door open all night and it cooled us down. We would stay again.

As a Freddie Mercury fan, it was quite a novelty to stay at this hotel, from the moment you walk in you see all Queen and Freddie art work. The hotel is directly accessible from the train platform which is very easy to locate. It is only about 5 to 10 minute walk to the main part of town into the waterfront. I was lucky enough to get a room with a Terrace and had a view over the back part of Montreux. They have central air-conditioning so you cannot change it however they do give you a fan to help with the heat. Overall I would give this hotel 8/10 and would stay again. Six months ago we paid for a room with a view. The only view we got was the train station, noisy to say the least, the most uncomfortable bed possible with an annoying light switch that came on every time I moved (it's behind the headboard). The link to Freddie Mercury is so tenuous it's embarrassing... The only upside was the cheery staff member who greeted us. With the apology.....I wouldn't stay here, I would use the very many other places there are available in the town. As for Montreux it seems to make an enormous amount from its link to Freddie, it's not justified in my opinion. As for the Hotel it owes more to Deep Purple than Queen, they did at least burn the studio down.

Very accessible. Also has central air conditioning, which became very important during the heat wave we suffered while visiting the Jazz Festival. Very friendly and accommodating desk staff. Wonderful management, as I could tell she runs a very tight ship. Also, it was great to be able to walk out of the front door of the hotel and go directly to the main platform of the train station, which was ultra convenient and that I was not fully aware of until I caught a train to Zurich. I'll be at the Jazz Festival next year, and I will come to this hotel again.

Great location, really close to the train station and the promenade. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Good breakfast at the hotel, which made getting on with our day nice and easy. The only slight negative was that we were there during a heatwave, and the central air conditioning system didn’t seem to cope very well - we ended up moving rooms and still needing a fan to try and keep the heat down. But other than that, we had a fabulous time in Montreux would definitely stay here again!

The room was utilitarian--and fine--but the standout was the breakfast. It ended up being the finest breakfast we had across 6 hotels in Switzerland, Italy and Monaco. Location was also perfect, just up the hill from the train station and the waterfront.

The hotel is very modern but expensive for what it provides especially the car park. 25 Swiss francs. Our room was noisy as it faced the station and trains rumbled past. The air conditioning didn't work, no bar, no proper lounge. The location was good and the staff helpful. We didn't like the look of the breakfast area and gave it a miss.

It is a very well located hotel, practically a few steps near the rail station, which makes the hotel confortable in that way. The staff is gently. My only regret, and is a big regret, is that I found a dirty women underwear in my hotel room, just the day of my arrival. I was looking for a plug to plug in my charger, when I found that underwear, and that only means how well they do the cleaning of the room.
