"Excellent breakfast and secure car parking "

"This hotel is the perfect spot to stay if you are in Chalon. The front desk is very helpful. It is a quick walk to parks and other tourist areas. Walking through town is a delight. Breakfasts and dinner at the hotel restaurant were wonderful. One of our best memories will be the breakfasts both because of the view of the plaza but especially the food. We had four rooms, all arriving at different times and they placed us together without having to be asked. The staff do everything they can to make you feel special. My husband also states that they have the best croissants in all of France! "

"Travelling to the south, this is perfectly located. We had our dog with us which was welcome for a small fee - the hotel is surrounded by fields offering fantastic exercise opportunity after a day in the car. Pool looked very nice but we didn’t have chance to use it - opened at midday and we needed to leave before then. We had pizzas which were good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would stop by again. "

"A hidden gem!! We broke down in Tournus due to a puncture, had to wait two days for new tyres, but managed to find this hidden gem, everything about it was amazing and could not fault it, pool, food and especially Catharine who helped us with taxis and speaking to the garage on our behalf, it certainly took away the pain of missing two days of our holiday, would and have recommended to all friends. Well done Catharine and team, you have an amaing hotel."

"The hotel is fantastic, the pool and the amenities in general are very neat. They offer us a baby crib and the front desk people were fantastic. The only bad side is if you do not speak French it was very difficult to get service at the one restaurant available because no one but the front decal and the manager speak English. I guess if you travel to a country where French is the first languages expected however for the price I would have expected more English friendly service. "

"Friendly welcome on check-in. Comfortable bed and pleasant room. Good breakfast with range of bread, bacon, and cereals; good coffee. Helpful staff who were happy to put ice packs in freezer. Basic but very good. A shame there's no way to make hot drinks."

"Nice location for a one night stopover on way to Italy. Staff friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Large bathroom. Clean bedding and room (kettle and tea/coffee appreciated). All rooms are around a courtyard where the parking is so all on ground floor. Little noise from behind the hotel and think it’s near train line, so if you’re a light sleeper be aware of this."
