Thank you very much for your feedback. First, I do apologize for any misunderstanding between you and one of our representatives during the check-in. We always respect and appreciated all guests who are staying at our properties. Second, we have never advertised as hotel. Our properties are privately owned Vacation Rentals apartments/ condos in the Plateau Mont-Royal area. We have checked with Expedia and have been confirmed that our listing are clearly indicated as such. Lastly, our check-in time is always at 4:00 PM. You called a day before your check-in date and requested for early check-in. You indicated that your train will arrive in Montreal at around 2:30 PM and will arrive at the property around 3:00 PM. We told our representative to be there 15 minutes before 3:00 PM with a set of key and an invoice for cleaning fee. However, around 2:00 PM, you called the owner and asked to check-in. The owner has tried his best to beat the traffic of Montreal in order to get you check-in before the agreed time. For cleaning fee. This fee is collected on behalf of a cleaning company we contracted to do cleaning after you checked out. They are not allowed to come in the room when there are guests staying unless there is a prior agreement between us and the guests. They cleaned up the apartment, wash all linen, towels and get ready for the next guests. This fee is clearly indicated when you made your reservation. First, all of our properties are listed on Expedia under vacation rentals apartments/condos. We purposely furnished our apartments and condos to give our guests the feel of home. Such, we will ask Expedia for clarification on this issue. Second, we do apologize for the bathroom and toilet problems. We are not sure what caused the toilet stuck during your stay, we never have this problem before. We, however, did call a plumber to do a check-up and everything is working fine now. For shampoo and soap, we have plenty of shampoo & conditioner, shower gel, and hand soap and hand lotion in the cabinet right next to the vanity. The property is a privately owned condo and have been listed as a Vacation Rentals apartment on Expedia for families, small groups or business travelers who just want a clean and well equipped place that feel like home during their vacation or business trip in Montreal.
