We booked a room with a Queen bed but I doubt that it was a Queen. It seemed more like a double bed. I wasn’t able to sleep since my legs were hanging off the bed.

- Only 3 towels provided for four guests - Shower / Shower head is absolutely useless, Modes does not provide adequate volume of water and extremely discomforting!!! - Dirty Carpets/ Floor - Room had a dodgy smell - No Microwave - Most of the fittings were outdated

I know Montreal is a French city, but communication was limited in English, and I am from Ontario. I can get by in French, but I had to make more of an effort to communicate as they had limited English. I was there six nights, and for four of them, it was quite loud in the middle of the night with people screaming. It was not pleasant.

The staff was working with what they had but the hotel wasn't up to par to what I paid for. The door of the first room couldn't be shut, didn't lock and didn't even have the extra security lock. The second room had boot marks and dirt stuck on to the floor. The third room they gave me was slightly better, however, the overall cleanliness of a hotel room that is expected wasn't there (ie there was mold in the shower caulking). I would definitely not stay there again and even tried to get my reservation cancelled due to the state of the first two rooms, the hotel refused.

There was mold in the room and the rooms smelled really bad. I had to get my room changed. The room that I was switched too was good, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel just based off the first room offered. The price doesn't reflect how outdated and un clean it was.

Do not stay there if you are a woman’s alone. Only men stay there. I was really nervous and the door to my room was hard to close. I left.

You can hear all the noise/footsteps from upstairs and next door. The beds are worn out and the room has a bad smell.

The staff tried to help us, but the hotel's condition and construction leaves a lot to be desired. You can hear everything, from people walking in the hallways to talking in their rooms.
