Loved it overall and can see this being a great property for functions like weddings. Unfortunately, I checked in at 7pm. No restaurant available and only room service. Not a fan of that. It's also a way from anything. You must have a car or you will be stranded.

Out family loved thst this hotel was kind of on the outskirts from town and had some very nice nature views. Service was amazing and good was great. Live music was almost as incredible as the eclipse we were chasing. I will go back if ever in town.

I love this hotel and enjoyed staying there in my visits. The be place is beautiful The only annoying thing is Sunday brunch. I wanted to invite my family over for brunch however I had to choose a different location. There is only a 3 course meal at $85 starting at 11:30. I’m sure the place would have been crowded and joyful if it was a brunch for everyone. There was more staff than guests. I will have to get up early and do breakfast before 10:30. Still definitely return.

The staffs were very rude and unfriendly, knowing very well we dont speak French, they would still speak to us on french and were complaining for 13 months old baby crying.

De loin la chambre standard la plus spacieuse et confortable qu'il m'aie été donné d'avoir pour un hôtel 4 étoiles.Excessivement propre et salle de bain moderne. Le rapport qualité prix était imbattable, surtout vu le marché actuel. L'attention et la compréhension des besoins de la clientèle se sentait dans les moindre détails. Et que dire de la beauté des lieux? Décorations des fêtes à en couper le souffle. Le sauna et le spa étaient très appréciés. C'est peut-être moi qui n'est pas habituée mais j'aurais aimé des instructions claires pour préchauffer le sauna au lieu d'essaie erreurs mais mise à part celà, tout était parfait. Superbe sevice, staff souriant et courtois. J'espère sincèrement avoir la chance d'y revenir. Le genre de séjour où tu n'as pas tant envie au final de sortir de l'hôtel!

Attention to detail throughout this hotel is top notch, the entire place smells amazing, the rooms are so comfortable and truly tastefully decorated and furnished, and enjoying a coffee and breakfast with that view of the water at the restaurant is so pleasant. The only slight downside is the surrounding area, it’s very safe but not much charm - although you can walk along the water and there are some nice houses to admire and The picturesque town of Hudson is only a 15 minute drive away

We were happy to have the electric charge station for our car . Friendly staff , everything at the chateau was spotless! Super clean , fancy furniture and decor pieces like frames, mirrors , chairs , couch , lamps , so cozy and quiet . Amazing view for the water and fall colourful trees , really enjoyed our stay !

Not what I was expecting
The elevators were broken and I had to carry my luggage up 4 flights of stairs as the person at the front desk was alone and never offered to assist. There was also a reception and my room could hear the music pounding until late. I was in town visiting my mom who’s in end of life stage and I was hoping for a relaxing experience which uncharacteristically this was not.

It was a family reunion for my moms birthday and we booked 5 suites for 2 nights. The rooms were beautiful and very clean and the grounds around the hotel are stunning. There were several weddings on Saturday and Sunday so the lobby was super busy and crowded for the regular hotel guests to be able to sit relax and enjoy. We also found the Sunday brunch à little pricey at $85/pers plus tax and serv. with no other à la carte options. Overall we enjoyed the hotel and our family weekend gathering.

Best place to treat yourself.
It was amazing. The check in people were more than accommodating and helpful everything I ask for was done without question. The grounds were beautiful. The shower with the rain fall was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the room was roomy. The only disappointment was that they put away the canoes and boat for season. They were not expecting the hottest weeks they ever had the week we went, but we had fun anyway. We actually treated ourselves on this vacation(the place was pricey)but it was worth it. The only thing it was a little far from the city.
