Nice stay in Montpellier

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is directly opposite St Roche station which was very convenient. It is also a short walk into the main areas of Montpellier. A perfect walking location. There are tram stops just around the corner. The hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable with lovely bathrooms. Staff were helpful and friendly.

I had a week’s stay in the hotel. The room was clean, bright and modern. The hotel was very close to all tram lines and a very short walk to the main square, an ideal location to experience Montpellier. The staff in the hotel were extremely helpful and I can’t praise them enough. I would highly recommend.

This was a pleasant surprise right next to the train station. Our train got cancelled and need to find something quick and cost effective. It was unique, clean, organized, and the staff were pleasant. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Everything was walking distance in the town.

As we were staying just overnight for a train connection, this hotel was ideal as it is right across the street from the station. We were on the street side and so we did hear the trains and feel the rumbling. But my husband wore earplugs and we both slept soundly. Everything was just fine. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed overnight at the hotel before catching a train to Barcelona. The check in process was very quick and easy and the staff were friendly and there was an elevator. Our room was modern and clean and was a little small with an average view out over an alleyway. The room had a fridge and a hairdryer and TV and air conditioning. We walked up to a main square in the evening and found plenty of bars and restaurants and a supermarket. Being over the road from the train station made the hotel a very convenient place to stay as we had an early train to Spain. Highly recommend.

Rude staff. I desperately needed a few more hours in the room before traveling to Barcelona and originally he said I could stay 4 more hours for 50 euros but then said they were "fully booked" which wasn't true because I could go online and get five different rooms. He was super rude and I basically tossed the room key at him as I left. Room was small, faced an interior corridor, and there was a stain on the carpet. Not worth the $100 I paid for one night.

Ideal location if you can get a good deal

We had a three night stay here and the location can't be beat. The entry level queen room wasn't large but we'll proportioned enough with window that opened to an inner courtyard rather than the road which was probably better for noise. The room had a small fridge which was great and sadly missed at many other french hotels. Also a coffee machine although both days the housekeeping failed to restock the pods and we had to ask, even when the coffee machine was left on the bench and no in the cupboard. Also we didnt have hand towels until day three, we would have expected them for this level of hotel but assumed it was a cost cutting measure when we arrived. Also I informed reception on check out that the tap on the basin was very loose, something that also should have been easily identified by housekeeping. Besides these minor issues, the room was otherwise very clean and we had a comfortable stay. Probably a bit on the pricier side but few other good options near the station they seem to get away with charging more

I stayed at the hotel for a longer stay than most. There is a lot to like about this hotel. It is across the street from the train station but the rooms are quiet. The trams are across the street making it very easy to use public transportation. The walk to the main place is easy and can be done in a few minutes. There aren’t restraints near the hotel. Small marts are across the street in the train station. Getting snacks was easy. The room was small for an American but good sized for Europe. There was a good use of space. I liked that the refrigerator was large and the safe easily accessible. I did get the morning breakfast. It was the basic buffet but good. The staff made my stay. I try and stay in smaller or boutique hotels because there is a better interaction with the staff. Benny is wonderful and very helpful. The young staff member was also very kind. They helped me arrange to travel to the beach. I am finding that Best Western is becoming my favorite chain. They are fancy or small. Clean and reliable. As for me I would recommend this hotel for a short stay definitely. As for a longer stay my only drawback is the lack of nearby restaurants. I had a weird experience with the appearance and disappearance of the English speaking movie channel. The hotel could do better with providing an English speaking non news channel.

This hotel was just across from the train station so very convenient. Clerk at the front desk was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Our room was a bit cramped but clean abd quiet. The convenient of getting around was so easy. Lots of good restaurants and so much to see.
