Incredible property on Lake Shafer. Beautifully decorated. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sofa sleeper, dish washer, washer, dryer, amazing decks. TVs in every room. 2 keurig machines. Master suite had king bed with balcony. Loved all the extra amenities (k cups, makeup wipes, snores kit) We also rented their pontoon boat. Great Lake house experience. Will definitely be back next year!

Fun and relaxing weekend!

We were really impressed with the property and the owner was very helpful and great to work with. We had lots of fun and enjoyed the lake. We really appreciated all of the extras that they provided! Would definitely stay here again!

Unforgettable stay at adorable lake house

Wonderful Family Getaway

Beautiful and Accommodating

Great Customer Service - Any time there was a question, the host was very responsive. The lake house was well stocked and the rooms were comfy. The pontoon was a nice addition to our stay.

Cute place on the lake

Our family enjoyed this cute place with lots of character. Everything was thought of to ensure our family had a good time. Communication was great with quick responses every time. This is the first time we took our dog with us

Amazing vacation spot

Our trip to lake Shaffer was awesome. The house and the owners exceeded our expectations. The owners had well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, and indoor activities for rainy days. We enjoyed the outdoor deck views of the lake during the day and fire table at night! We would definitely make the trip back to this vacation rental again!!!

Amazing stay

We couldn’t ask for a better family vacation! Kelly and Ryan were phenomenal with communication and making sure our stay was perfect. The house was clean and stocked with anything you would need. They truly paid attention to every detail to ensure guests would have a great time. We also rented the boat which is a must! So much fun!!!!

We had a great time staying here. The deck was amazing and renting the pontoon boat was the highlight of our stay. We were on the water for 2 days tubing and enjoying the lake. The host thought of all the small details inside and each room has its own air conditoner. The furniture and mattresses are very comfortable and the huge ktichen island was perfect for playing family games. Thick towels laid out in every room with extra towels provided. The 3 bathrooms were a plus too. This house has been renovated inside with many comforts and thoughtful upgrades. We appreciated the mostly ramps to the dock versus the many steps it could have been. Karen responded quickly and her son who also lives on the lake was available at anytime. The lake location is perfect and minutes ride from Indiana Beach, lake restaurants and stores. Karen thought of every detail and this home makes you feel at home.

Wonderful family lake vacation

Extremely clean and very nice property. The boat was great and all of the decks were lovely. The house was very well stocked and we were surprised by all of the extras like water bottles and s'mores ingredients that were included. Owners were exceptional. We had a great time as three generations having a lot of fun and also a lot of peaceful relaxation. We are already looking to book again next summer.

Impressive lake house stay

I was super happy with our experience. The home was extremely clean. It was very home-like. So many utensils in the kitchen for cooking. Even the little stuff like extra toiletries was all provided. The check in process was easy and the dock was gorgeous. The home looks even better in person. It was truly an amazing stay for the whole family!

This property exceeded our expectations! The owners have thought of everything and even greeted us with fresh, chilled cucumber water and snacks. The view of the lake was beautiful. If we ever go back to the area we would stay again! Communication with the owner was very simple and friendly!

Beautiful lake retreat

We love your property! Thank you so much for having us. The lake is so relaxing - we swam in it everyday! The pontoon boat was so fun, and it was so convenient that we could rent the boat right there! Ryan was great giving us the boat tour & showing us the sandbar! Communication with Kelly was wonderful! We loved all the extras - snacks, s'mores, stuff for Mr. Boots etc. This house has everything you need & more! We will be back❤️

Wonderful Getaway

We stayed for 3 nights with three teenage boys. The house was perfect with more amenities than we expected. The large kitchen and two family rooms allowed plenty of space for all of us. The large deck with table top fire place looking over the lake was a perfect to hang out in the evening. It was spotless and well prepared for a great experience. Having the pontoon to rent during our stay was the perfect for us to fish and enjoy the beautiful weather. It felt like home away from home!

A lovely lake getaway

We had a wonderful stay. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we could need, including foil. We made use of the many containers for storage as well as pots and pans, and serving trays. There were many little extras that we didn't take advantage of but my sister appreciated the sugar packets for her coffee in the morning. Plenty of space for 6 adults. The sunsets are lovey across the lake. Mornings were quiet and peaceful! Would happily stay again!

Family Wedding

Perfect. Our son’s wedding was at a venue just minutes away. The house provided a place where we were able to relax, have breakfast with extended family, relax on the deck in the evening. Host was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. They have done a nice job with good attention to many of the details that make the whole experience pleasant.

My favorite vrbo house so far!!!

Beautiful scenery, NATURE OH HOW I LOVE YOU, Fishing, boating, nice restaurants, and nature what more can you ask for?! Terrific Home!

Great house to spend a long weekend at. We had a rather large group and our dogs but still had plenty of room. Many nice touches throughout the house and super comfy beds with lots of pillows. Nice to have access to the pontoon boat as well. We rented it for a couple days and the kids had a blast at the sandbar and cruising the lake. The price was also much cheaper than renting at other places we looked. Kelly was very accommodating and easy to work with for our stay. She checked in a few times via text to make sure everything was good. Would love to get back there again if we get a chance.

Impressive Lake House

Kelly and Ryan were amazing hosts. Always responsive and checking in on us. This house was so clean and so stocked. We definitely overpacked. We were so impressed with all the amenities - even the little things that many VRBOs only get you started - plenty of shampoo, soap, garbage bags, toilet paper you name it, we couldn’t find something that was missing. The boat was also so fun - our kiddos loved tubing on the lake. Also a plus is the ramp leading down to the lake - not too many stairs. Outside and inside - lots of thought went into the details to make your stay very comfortable.

Amazing

Words cannot define how awesome the host was at this property. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. All of the extras made us feel special. One of our guest forgot her toothbrush. They had some there for that reason. The kitchen was stocked with spices. The boat came with all the fun floats. The beds were so comfy. The communication was great. The host checked in with us via text to make sure everything was good.

EXCEPTIONAL

From the moment we walked in the door we were blown away! So many details and added comforts to make guests feel welcome and cozy. You will only need to pack a bag of clothes and some food because everything else has been taken care of by the most gracious hosts ever! They even thought of our dogs w their own bed and bowls and a welcome sign! We rented the offered boat which was the nicest we’ve rented. I could go on and on but you really should just go see for yourself! We will be back! Thank you so much Kelly, Kevin and Ryan for all you’ve done to this beautiful lake house to make guests feel at home and have a perfect lake vacation!

This was an amazing weekend to spend for our anniversary on lake shafer!!

There was a new dèck built just before our stay! Alot more seating outside with the new deck! Absolutely beautiful view on a quiet street. The house was so stocked i was impressed very much!! My kids Absolutely loved the lake! We took the boat out for a day and well now were looking to buy one because we all loved it so much!!!!!! I forgot my fishing pole but we did see alot of others doing some fishing. The wildlife was top notch the day we left. I saw a doe and her baby, lots of hawks and my favorite bird a red headed woodpecker!!!❤️ A very updated house for a great price point!!! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
