Me and my wife came for a weekend stay here. It was centrally located to many nature activities.
Went to a brewery for lunch after going for a hike. The hot tub, and outdoor seating area were great as well.
My husband and I and our 2 cats enjoyed 4 nights at this cottage. It was clean and comfortable. The cats loved being outside exploring the yard and woods.
The place was as advertised and more. They had everything needed for a relaxing and quiet stay. They have managed to incorporate multiple activities in one place. The outside jacuzzi, the fire pit area, the hammock area, the picnic table area, the back porch with grill area and the inside TV area with movies. We loved our stay. We recommend to all.
Tidy, cozy cottage. Hot tub a big plus, as is the firepit and shaded outdoor picnic table for outdoor meals. Even a cold mid-Spring stay was made lovely by the flowering trees. Near a road with infrequent but fast-moving cars, however cottage is set back from the road and is quiet. Proximity to Livingston Manor is great for good food and more.
We rented the cottage because we needed a place to stay as we were seeing Phish play at Bethel all 3 nights . The cottage was perfect , clean ,cozy and quiet . Loved the out side !! And the Hot tub was icing in the cake !!!!

The house was advertised to have a coffee maker but only had a Keurig. Not knowing that we didn’t bring pods and had to create a way to do a pour over. A mouse showed up on day 2 and the owner iqnored my asking for help. Otherwise the house is attractive and the hot tub is a nice feature
Could not of been happier with our stay here! It had everything we needed/wanted from a cozy feeling, the hot tub, to a kitchen with appliances/cookware to cook in. This place was perfect for our weekend getaway! It was also very clean, which we appreciated! Would definitely come back here and would highly recommend!!
The cabin is nicely decorated and very clean. We had everything we needed but missed having a microwave to heat up drinks. The outdoor space is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi and fire pit. The owners were great to communicate with! We couldn’t have had a better time and will definitely try to come back.
Enjoyed our stay. This location is convenient for what we needed. Had everything we needed to stay. We cook our meals. If it was summer we would enjoy the yard as well. Everything was great, all my friends who stayed with were happy and they are not easy to please.
Lovely place. They’re backyard was magical. We went with my dog who was so happy to be able to run around. Check-in was very easy even though we got in quite late and the place was very clean.
Bilen’s cottage is cozy and so charming and spotless. The house and gardens are thoughtfully designed, with comfortable sitting areas and a tranquil view of the woods. We enjoyed our stay and slept so soundly in one of the comfortable bedrooms. It’s so dark and beautifully quiet at night! Also close to nearby towns for dining out etc.
My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend for our anniversary. It was a perfect choice. The house was cute and clean. It’s short drive to the village where we walked around, ate good food and picked up some snacks and drinks. If you’ve never been to the Livingston Manor, it’s a sleepy little town. Not much opens before 11 and most things close at 6 or 7pm except for the restaurants. While there we drove about 35 minutes to Neversink Gorge as suggested by the property owners and went for a 2.5 hour hike. Beautiful waterfalls there to see and it was the perfect weather for a hike. We got there early and it was a good thing because there isn’t much parking. By the time we were leaving parking was tight as many people came later to hike. We also went to The Arnold House for dinner and saw they were having a local Artisan Farmers Market so went back the next day to wander through before leaving. They had beautiful items there to shop. Overall it was just what we were looking for in a relaxed getaway. We took most of the suggestions of places to go from the property owners. They were great to communicate with.
Host is very responsive and check in / out process was seamless. Cottage is practical and well equipped. Only con is how damp home feels given the price (however, we did not turn A/C or heat on)
