3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1700 square foot house, sleeps 8 to 10 people. Located just 4 miles from New Glarus, 10 miles from Monroe and 45 minutes from Madison. Sugar River Bike Trail is less than a 1/2 mile from our front door. Wifi, central air, brand new appliances, 2 sofa sleepers in living room. Nestled in a wooded location for privacy, yet not too far from shopping with the Monroe historic district and the Swiss village of New Glarus nearby.

Perfect location

We came to volunteer out at a local race and this home couldn’t have been more convenient to the location. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the check in process couldn’t have been easier.

Getaway Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway. Spent our days exploring the area and evenings chatting on the patio. Home is very nice, clean and cozy. We are already talking about possibly returning in the fall!!

Fantastic country cottage

We went to Monticello for Cheese Days in Monroe and to meet up with old friends. Sharon's place was super spacious! We sat at the dining room table and played games and had an excellent time!

Just as advertised

We stayed here with 2 other couples to attend Oktoberfest in New Glarus. The house and its amenities were exactly as advertised ! Very cozy and had everything we needed. Host was extremely responsive and even shared tips on some local restaurants . Would highly recommend and would gladly stay there again .

Perfect place

We really loved this property! The house was super clean and had a homey cottage feel. The yard was amazing, large and private. It even had a swingset which got a lot of use during our stay. I loved the dual thermastats, made sleeping at night much more comfortable. Would definitely come back!

Great location, great house

This was a perfect place for my husband and me and our five kids. The big backyard with swings and firepit were definite pluses, as were the separate bedrooms upstairs and the pullout couches in the livingroom. Lots of space! It is a bit difficult to communicate with no Internet so that is a negative and if there was a hairdryer hiding somewhere, I couldn't find it. Otherwise, a wonderful stay - we'll be back!

Host- Sharon was great to work with. House was a perfect fit for our family. Enjoy having the washer/dryer on site for use and kitchen had all the essentials for making meals. Pleasantly surprised with having a refrigerator with an ice maker. Backyard with fire pit(ample wood supply and starter supplies) plenty of seating and a swingset for children. Scenic views of the countryside traveling to/from destinations. Great location, with Monticello, New Glarus and Monroe all within 13 miles.

Wonderful private country setting

Traveling from Indiana to Wisconsin, touring different Cheese Factories and Stores. This house is ideal for families as it is out away from everything yet easy access to towns of Monroe, New Glarus, plus Monticello itself is a cute small town. Ideal for Kids, as the lot is private and HUGE, with outdoor play equipment, fire pit, picnic table ect, Just Wonderful!

Peaceful and relaxing

The house is very comfortable and had anything we needed. As it is Spring right now the wildlife in the backyard is very busy and fun to just relax and watch. There is a Red Headed Woodpecker in the yard this year. Over all it is a great place to recharge and enjoy the surrounding towns.

This home sits on a hill looking west. The home is spacious with a nice back yard and firepit. Close to New Glarus. The rooms are big and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Communication with the owner was awesome. Would definitely stay again.

Badger State Bike Trail RIde

This is a well kept older home about a half mile from the Bike trail. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and convenient location. The house sits on top of a steep ridge. The driveway is very steep. You will need to walk your bike up to the house as it is too steep to ride even with an ebike.
