"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."

"The peoperty has potential to be amazing but needs some investment to bring it up to standard. It wasn't very clean, there was a very odd smell in the gite, and there were some weird 'quirks' like random items in the wardrobe, lots of non-essential things not working (like the playstation), and it just felt a bit unloved which give it a weird vibe. "Really wonderful accommodation. Walking distance to town. Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. Large, beautiful rooms. Breakfasts were lovely, and we really enjoyed the option of one of Michael’s incredible dinners. Really happy to have found Maison Mulato. If you go, make sure to spend a little quiet time just being at the house. "
