We went to Safari Park and Montgomery Zoo and Dillon gave us a ONE ON ONE ENCOUNTER with the Giraffes. Dillon answered all our questions; he should write a book about Giraffes.

Stay east of downtown and you'll be fine and have a lot of choices for shopping and restaurants. Downtown and the surrounding areas have a lot of abandoned buildings and seem sketchy at night.

After dark it was loud with many homeless people, people that seemed intoxicated, loud music, and people arguing.

Downtown is great for history buffs. I wish I could've spent more time downtown. The area where the hotel was located, on Eastchase Pkwy wasn't downtown, but in a suburban stip malls area, not pedestrian friendly, no crosswalks to access restaurants.

"Easily one of the prettier hotels we have stayed at!! I love its open lay out so we are not walking through closed long alleys.. it’s refreshing and laudable how they have embraced an open layout..
The rooms are very spacious, clean..
It’s centrally located with the Rosa Parks museum, Legacy museum and Food district in walking distance as is the Riverfront and boating experience...Please, Please.. these museums are absolute must sees!!! The Maxwell Airforce base is literally 5 minutes from the hotel..
The staff were one of the kindest and welcoming crew we have met. They serve a lovely breakfast and also have an Evening Reception!!!
Montgomery is a diamond in the rough and as the birthplace of the Civil Rights movement, it should be be on everyone’s map! "
"I like everything about the state the staff was very friendly asked for downstairs room. I got my downstairs room housekeeping, very friendly. I will come back and I will let my friends know how nice it is to stay at this. Days and I had a good time. Thank you."
