We travel several times a year and this was a wonderful stay! Facilities and immunities are immaculate, modern and up to date! Secured parking gave an extra sense of safety! We would definitely stay here again!
The staff were welcoming. The hotel is lovely, kept very clean. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast and our stay. You have to pay additional to park or find a spot on the street, that was the only inconvenience
We enjoyed out stay. The customer service rep Maria was so very friendly and helpful.
The cleaning crew was also nice and helpful.
Would definitely stay again.
Very good location and nice hotel. Breakfast area has everything you need although it is a small space where the food is served. The parking gate does not work well and scanning process needs another work around.
Thankfully, my mother taught us to always bring our own sheets and that she’s upgraded now to include the mattress cover because our bed’s mattress cover had obvious blood stains on it. Our room was not cleaned either of the full two days that we stayed so those soiled items stayed underneath the desk for two nights😒.
The rest of the hotel appeared to be well-kept and the staff (excluding the manager who was conveniently not available at check in) were pleasant.
The rooms were very neat and clean. The breakfast was very good with a variety of things to pick from. Kyndra, the young lady that checked us in was very pleasant and courteous. She smiled the entire time and you could tell she enjoyed her job. Maria, the young lady that helped us with explaining to us about a charge on our bill was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We had a very good experience at this hotel. I would recommend it.
Nice hotel within walking distance to many of the sites and sounds of downtown Montgomery. The staff were professional and helpful. The rooms are big with nice appointed decor. The fitness room is more than functional. Breakfast is fulfilling and plentiful. My one con: parking is less than desirable but, compared to the other hotels in the area that charge for all parking, I can accept the free parking on the street.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Friendly staff. Variety at breakfast. Good experience.
On the whole, we were very pleased with this property, the newness, the cleanliness, the excellent breakfast choices, and the helpfulness of the staff. There were only two issues we encountered, the first of which was a $20/day fee for parking in their (open air) parking lot. One of the reasons I selected this property was because it offered free parking. That was not the case, and even the person who checked us in admitted that that information was not on the website.
The second issue we encountered was in the handicap accessible room we reserved. The room was lovely and spacious, however the door to the room was so heavy that one of us could not open it alone. I could only imagine the inability to open it at all if one of us had been in a wheelchair or using a walker. It would have been impossible. Additionally, while the bathroom was large and very clean, the bathtub was so slippery that we had to hang on to the bars when showering for fear of slipping and/or falling. We would suggest providing an optional bath mat, at least in the handicap accessible rooms to prevent this sort of mishap.
We would love to stay at this property again should plans bring us back to Montgomery. However it would be helpful if these issues were addressed for anyone coming, especially older people or those with disabilities.
The room was excellent but in 4 days we never had a room refreshed or renewed or cleaned. Not even trash and towels. I finally stopped at front desk and complained but they still didn’t do anything but hand me some towels.
Second the breakfast was horrible. The muffins were edible but dry. The other food we tried was awful. Poorly prepared and horrible choices.
Third. They charged me for the whole stay the first night which was expected. After I checked out they charged me another $185 for no reason. I was still in town and stopped by to get it straightened out. They claimed they hadn’t charged me at all that it was from hotels.com. I know this is not true because the charges were from Hilton not Hotels.com. I also asked for a copy of the bill which they said they could not provide. Something very fishy going on that hotel. I think it’s fraud.
I know get to waste my time disputing the charge on my Mastercard.
DO NOT STAY THERE. The hotel was very clean and comfortable but all the other problems ruined our stay. At least my team won the tournament we were there to see.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The room had a nice layout w/ a kitchenette, attached living room, & a separate bedroom. The bathroom was relatively spacious, shower-only, brightly lit, & had a vanity w/ shelves for the linen. The toilet paper roll was in an awkward position, when positioned on the commode.
The breakfast was decent, having sausage, eggs, waffle makers, cereal, pastries, coffee, a yogurt machine, etc. The waffles & yogurt had some fixings to fancy them up, if you like.
Upon check-in, we encountered friendly & helpful staff. At checkout, we felt almost invisible. At check-in, the desk personnel told us to take a photo of a QR code w/ our cellphones to use to access the parking lot gate scanner, saying it would work better than a slip of paper that had the code we photographed. However, the phone trick did not allow us to enter the lot. We acquired one of the slips of paper, later, but that didn't work, either. We started driving our compact car around the gate arm.
The TV in the bedroom did not work.
The gym had a squat rack, cable machine, cardio units, dumb bells, & a water dispenser w/ cups. The room was on the 1st floor, clean, w/ windows facing the street in front of the facility. The customer laundry room was in this area.
The parking lot access was our biggest issue, but it would have been nice to watch TV in bed, as well. It should be noted that not every floor had a working ice machine. Overall, we found the facility to be clean & modern, but we had some quibbles.
The facility is clean and well appointed. The problems I ran into were varied. First, I did not know that this hotel also doubles as a dorm for Alabama State college students. My first night, the police had to be called in the middle of the night because of college students fighting. Not good. My third night, I arrived to the hotel after working a late night shift, only to be told that I couldn't park on the street in the free parking as the city was going to start repaving in the morning. I had 8 hours notice and the only solution the hotel offered was to pay $30 a night for valet . . . which parked in an open unsecured lot next to the same road I was parking on. That was not a good solution. And when I checked out this morning, the system was down so they couldn't check me out and hand me a copy of my bill. So, this is a new hotel but there are some major things that need to be fixed. I'm coming back next week and don't want to go through this again.
