"The cabin itself is very nice. Walk to the lake is more like 15 minutes rather than the 3 that’s advertised but not a huge deal. The opening at the lake at the end of the trail is very small, and heavily brushed in so you can’t see much of the lake. The beds in the cabin were pretty bad, with the advertised pull out couch not having an actual pull out mattress on it, but rather a 3” foam mattress topper instead. You could feel every bar on the frame through it, and the head end sagged down. When...

"The resort itself gets five stars. The staff unfortunately only get two stars. Our room wasn’t ready until 5 o’clock because they didn’t have any clean ones available. We tried to eat at the Landshark Bar and Grill. The restaurant had about six tables already seated, and there was one group ahead of us waiting to be seated. The two hostesses looks so confused and took about 15 minutes to seat the other couple and ourselves, we were seated about 10 minutes and no one came over to let us know they’d be right with us or even acknowledge us so we left the resort and went out to dinner nearby. We finally get back to the resort around 8 PM and have two hours to enjoy the pool before it closes at 10.No staff offered us a drink poolside. We were ready to spend money but no one offered to take an order. I will say that the room was very spacious and clean with a great view."
