"It was our 4th stay here. We had 3 rooms and all was very well. Breakfast was very satisfying and rooms were all with balcony overlooking the river. Staff was all extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant"

"The first thing I have to mention is the excellent staff. Every one of them was polite, attentive and helpful and communicated well in spite of the language barrier. I didn’t speak a word of French but they did their best to communicate in English and they did a great job. Garden and City has lots of common spaces to hang around after a hard day of hiking. Most lodgings in Cauterets do not have common spaces. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. There is an in-house laundromat. Located in the center of town. Pricing was reasonable. I would highly recommend this place."

"Great breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Clean rooms that provides practically everything you need for your stay at Lourdes. Literally a few minutes walk to the Basilica and Groto gate entrance with absolutely no need for transportation to those sites. Will absolutely stay there again if lucky enough to return."
