"Lovely sleepy peaceful medieval town with one bar/cafe. The place itself is wonderful too, an old medieval building but renovated with modern comfort and style. Very spacious, everything in good working order, tastefully decorated, everything we needed. Also there is a large patio with shade for sitting/eating/etc. And the pool is wonderful!! We loved our stay."

"I arrived in early October for a full two weeks stay (to work on some project on the computer) - and I enjoyed my stay very much: The place is quiet, very well maintained and you can ask the owner for any help and will for sure get it (like additional kitchen equipment). Bed was very good (not old, not too soft), there is highspeed wireless at least in the hut and outside (!), and looking at the donkey + baby donkey is just enjoyable, also. "Stayed here for two nights in July 2025 after visiting Barcelona, Girona, Carcassonne, Montserrat and more. My (adult) children said this was their favorite location. You should have heard them gasp as we drove the road! We had plenty of space to stretch out, and we watched the Olympics from the TV. Wifi was fine but did not test for Zoom or anything. "Excellent choice for our family of 5 adults and two kids. The house is a newer addition to a century old farmhouse. Very functional, clean and comfortable. The host Dolors is an adorable person and made us feel right at home, even gave us a basket with fresh eggs from her chickens. The house is located at short drive from Figueres and Besalu. Highly recommended."
