"While the bungalows may be on the rustic side, it is authentic and functional - and the setting is absolutely unmatched. The small pool at the centre of the compound is a Costa Rican paradise. Renters ought to be aware that it is not located in the Montezuma town, but a 2-3 km walk up steep hills from the beach. Our group was able to do the walk, but many would find it difficult without a vehicle."

I Received confirmation number from VRBO to stay at this property. After leaving San Jose, I had no WiFi while traveling to Montezuma. Upon arrival my wife & I were told that we had no room but the other family members were fine. First the Host blamed me for not answering her phone messages!
