I liked the fact that it was an old hotel with an ancient lift that worked and that it was in the old part of the city close to Independence Square. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Although the hotel lacked a breakfast/dining room, tea, coffee, and cake were provided and it was possible to bring in takeaways and use their microwave to reheat them.

Pleasant stay, super centrally located, just off a major pedestrian street in the old town. Cute and architecture and an old fashioned elevator you must try. Basic, clean, friendly and considerate staff. A 35 minute ride to the international airport the next morning.

A wonderful charming hotel of colonial character, with very helpful and friendly staff and a great central location. Our room had even a balcony from where we could watch the sunset. The hotel offers only basic amenities, but there are great breakfast cafés nearby and lots of restaurants too.
