Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa
The adjoining room door was next to the bed. Very poor sound proofing. The next room’s conversations at normal tones sounded like they were in our room. They talked until 2:45AM. The hotel clerk did make note of it the next morning when I reported it. Hopefully they will fix the problem.

In addition to expensive rooms you also have to pay for parking. Big dirt spots all over carpet in the room. Dirty bathroom. Gaps all around door frame the bright hall light does not let you sleep. Casa Munras Garden Hotel & Spa
Great place to stay. Highly recommended. Just bring your earplugs if you want to sleep in. Also ask for the upstairs rooms. I prefer it.
