We always enjoy our stay at Stargazer. Rooms are clean. Great location. Close to shopping and restaurants. There is a pool and hot tub. There are a couple of large family rooms. I recommend this place.

Mariposa Inn & Suites
The staff was the worst part of this experience. Check in took about 45 min because I was waiting for the front desk person to finish a phone call with no acknowledgment that I was there. The Inn at 1252
Meh. It was fine for an Inn but it felt more like a Motel. No paintings on the walls or chairs to sit on in room. Compared to the first "Inn at xx" I stayed at a decade ago, it's gone downhill sadly.

Aura Inn Monterey
Cons: The A/c was finicky and required being reset a couple of times. The WIFI router also needed to be reset. No welcome book with listings of amenities. The bathroom has no hooks to hang towels or clothes. Just the main rack. The layout was weird. No way to watch TV from the couch. Would have made ...
