"We had a very nice time at Anne Marie's place. She was really welcoming and helpful. Checking in and out was very quick and straightforward. She gave us great information about what to see and do on the area too. The location is very good, in a quiet place, but close to supermarkets and a few lakes with bars and restaurants. "Lovely surroundings and hosts. Nice and quiet nature spot with a lake and mostly shaded garden with a small swimmingpool. Loads of fish in the lake and different spots around the lake to sit, fish or just enjoy nature.Hosts are very friendly and will help you with whatever u want or need.Bedrooms are downstairs and lovely and cool.Kitchen has all the basics, and very good kitchenknives and pans.Plenty of room for a family of 4 or even 6 guests.Extra seating area outside the master bedroom with a small waterfall, that was once in use when the property was a watermill.We loved our stay!"

"Great house for families, we met Thomas briefly after check in. He generously provided a welcome basket and extra tractors for 2 year old to play with. Well equipped house with lots of space. Good for peaceful countryside holidaying, large garden and many games and activities. Nearby river canoeing from Ruffec. Certain aspects need a little tlc but you will have a great time here"
