Montego Bay Apart Hotels

"The property has a private beach( you can see fish in the water) the staff were outstanding. Eventhough this is an all inclusive resort, the servers worked their butts off, I am shocked that some guest feel they do not have to leave a TIP, which is optional. For the first class meals and service they provide, please please please consider a TIP especially if you have a large party. Lastly, I did not know we were in the shopping district with at least a mile long row of shops directly outside the hotel. "

"This is a 5-star Adults Only - All Inclusive Resort. Everything was top-notch. The food at the buffet was so good we never went to a restaurant. They even have 24-hour room service and a stocked refrigerator in the room. You can go to the two resorts next door (Rui Montego Bay and Riu Reggae), but because this is the Rui Palace, they can not visit the Rui Palace. Dislikes: All the pools close at 6 pm, even at Rui Montego Bay and Riu Reggae. Rui Palace kept running out of washcloths. We went two days without washcloths. Housekeeping kept telling us they were waiting for a supervisor to bring some, but we never received any. Which was very unacceptable!!! "

"This family trip was Awesome. We booked at Hyatt Zilara(adult side). We checked in on Ziva side due to some minor road construction on Zilara side. The check-in “warning is extremely HOT in the lobby area.. no AC it was truly unbearable. Once we were greeted We had the best service from Teena. My junior suite was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had a minor hiccup with another family member room but “Gabby at Concierge quickly resolved the issue and we were on to our happy vacation. The resort is nice needs some updating especially the hall carpet. Carpet throughout the entire resort needs replacing ASAP. However, the food, the entertainment is all good. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Did I mention the food the food was AMAZING.. you do need reservations for some of the restaurants. I suggest once you get situated in your room.. go back to Concierge and make your restaurant reservations for your family/guest. Overall, we had an Awesome experience. I would definitely recommend Hyatt Zilara! "
